Aotearoa is the native Maori word “land of the long white cloud “, the name for their country. The last singer is Maisey Rika, who sings the first line from the National Anthem, “God Defend New Zealand”.

Vowels are similar to Japanese. Here's some tips
A = a or ah
E = e as in egg
I = ee
O = or
U = oo
WH = f
AU = o
NG = G is silent so NGA = na or nah

I love this video . Its written in our native tongue but as you can see , NZ is made up of more then just Maori people and the coming together of a nation is really beautiful . "ahakoa nō hea mai koe , ka whawhai tōnu mātou mōu" translates to "No matter where you come from , well fight for you" .
