Do not try this at home!! or at any where else!!

I was too busy to get new stuff filmed while learning to use Bob the Bot and filming one secret project so I had to throw up this comparison, but I had lot fun doing this one still :D The difference is so large not only on the press but also on production quality :D
Hey and if you have any great ideas for my next week episode let me know! I am going to install angle grinder to Bob the Bot (our industrial robot) and then put it to cut stuff that is under pressure, like car springs etc. that you would like to cut while they are under couple tons of force :D
How about having a heat sensor to see if pressing stuff warms it up?
For most things 300T is better... BUT for paper and playing cards, 150T is better - the build up is slower and the damage is more explosive. For some reason 300T exceeds the point where paper and playing cards explode, which is disappointing.
@@paulosborne6517 I will build a springy table attachment for 300 tonner to make it more explody with weaker items :D
@@HydraulicPressChannel Excellent..!!! I hope it works... I miss A4 and playing cards exploding into a million pieces.
I would say a propane cylinder but that is likely way too crazy even for a bunker. Maybe a less likely to blow up the bunker a compressed air can would be interesting.
Do you have a thermal camera? It would be interesting to see if and where there would be any temperature fluctuations when under stress.
I second that motion! Great idea!
Awesome idea get a flir camera
+1
I think the next equipment to get is a better slow motion camera (like the SloMo Guys have). Or, get them to video your crushing with their camera.
I remember when they used thermal paint that changes colour when heated, allot of good results.
Need a collab with theslowmoguys. It would be impressive to see the crack propagation when steel undergoes brittle fracture
This is the best idea yet! Awesome collab, this has to be a thing soon!! Also awesome username SchrodingersMechanic
@@fluffsquirrela great name for a great idea!
@@koriw1701 Well put Kori!
I've been wanting a slowmoguys colab with HPC forever
You two have the unique aura of a happy couple wholesomely smashing and exploding things to give people joy. Thank you for the delight you bring to all of us here.
Orginal Blast Screen was rusty open steel mesh. Now there is concrete Bunker with Bullet Proof windows and stell door and ceiling. Prrriiti Guud improvements.
Its so funny how hanna absolutely screams 😂😂
Time for a collaboration with the Slow Mo Guys
Hey! I think that your idea of using the robot+angle grinder to cut things under pressure is awesome! Looking forward to seeing that!
Seriously, what you two do is art. You are destruction artists. My favorite piece in this collection is 4:04. The way the bearing crumbles, the parts spread out, the watermelon gets wrecked and the eyeball spins around... it's so satisfying.
You need a Richter Scale meter and a Decibel Meter in that bunker ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
To be honest this is actually a great way to test tool brands and other products xD.
Like if it can survive a hydralic press then it can survive anything xD
I Just had an Idea for eyes for the Water Melon. Hard Boil two eggs and cool. Using a hyperdermic needle, inject some tomato Ketchup intothe Yolk area, Paint on some eyes and insert into correct sized holes in Mr Water Melon for that BRUTAL Effect!! (Obviously peel the shells off first after cooling)😂
I WANT A PROFIPRESS 9000000 for Christmas! You’ll Blow your Eyes out kid!😂😂😂

Killer comment!
You know it's power behind the explosions when the whole press is jumping of the floor 😂.
The slow motion sounds are the best!
3:26 what an amazing sound!
Are you 100 % sure your glass window will withstand all your crazy ideas?
They are rated for .308 rifle bullets so I think they are ok 😃
@@HydraulicPressChannel Well, let half of a little anvil or ⅓ of a hammer go berserk - that's a bit more than just a bullet. 🤦♂️
What max. speed of objects did you achieve?
Remember: E kin. = ½ mass x V² 😳
@@u.e.u.e. While your logic is true, bullets are shaped to penetrate, unlike shrapnel.
@@HydraulicPressChannelThat's a tiny little projectile. I'm sure an exploding hammer head has more energy released.
@@Alexandros.Mograine Yes and no.
Some bullets mushroom-out, copper and lead are softer than steel. Shrapnels can be sharp, too. And a bullet-proof glass isn't certified for flying parts of bearings or anvils.
The problem with Mr watermelon when crushing the bearings is that he is not wearing his safety glasses.
Wow!!! I am VERY glad you got that bunker setup after this video. HOLY MACKINAW!!!
The "levitating" 300t press will be a classic. The neighbour-test.
I gotta say I like the new setup, you don't hear the motor and for me this is nice since I use headphones all the time.
The oopsie on the piston got me
I've seen other hydraulic press channels, but yours is the best! Your videos are creative and entertaining!
Imagine being a hammer in his shop shit it’s my day to die
We need more melons nearby to see what the shrapnel does
Finding the nastiest thing to disperse near you
Some good old fashioned crushing here. I think it’s ready gets me every time.
This Profi Press is one of the most incredible machines I've ever seen in my life. That thing can take some abuse, I'll be curious to see how it holds up over the years though I honestly don't expect anything is going to happen with it. With your mods its made for this. Amazing machine. PS How'd your pet squirrel die? Quite a lot happened.
Anyone else had a jumpscare when the second hammer exploded ? 😅
As a certian late 80s singer once said, its hammer time.⚒️🔨
Will be great to add a thermal camera . Wondering what the temperature is like when compressed.
Absolutely!
That last thick pipe had to be melted soft!
You're having a lot of fun with your 300 ton press; you could have 4 times the fun with a 1200 ton press.
The last bearing almost sounded like church bells in slow-motion 😂
That last pipe pressurizing the air inside it was cool!
You guys should try something like super strong ceramic sometime due to its properties of getting stronger under stress.
Would like to see a few more thermal camera videos on the heavy metal items
See what the heat bloom is like
Also thermal camera on paper explosions see what kind of heat bloom
Someone may have suggested this before but I wonder if you could use pressure instead of heat and layer different types of steel to make a Damascus steel knife?
You two laughing at the watermelon taking ball-bearings to the face! Watermelon's lives matter!!!! From yhe seed to the rhine!!!!
😉👍
2:02 I love your WTF song. 😂
You should get some ballistic dummy heads for your next tests.
Wow, the comparison we've been waiting for! Awesome!
I'd like to see a real slow motion (like the slow mo guys) on these objects and the pressed tubes could be sold...I like them.
That press is such a manly toy lol!
The hammer really frightened me when he flew off O.O
Kind regards
That last one is super satisfying. Method 2,246 on how to make an ash tray, lol.
Camera directed towards you was very cool
I was shocked when I saw 05:33 the exposed cable on the floor and the splinters could fly into it. 😱 With the high speed of the flying splinters, it can quickly happen that the insulation of the cable is shot through and there is a short circuit and everything is out of order. I recommend that you lay the cables at the edge of the room in a cable duct. This way it is well protected.
The steel tubes were awesome!
I just love hearing her laugh!
300 ton press says "hold my beer" 😉💪
Is Timu doing any precision machining while you are rocking the shop?
1:55 "oops" lmao
6:26 😂
I love the brand "Finbullet" It's almost like they knew all along lol
1:22 Simply smashing! Have you installed the rubber floor yet? I missed it if you did. But after this, it looks like the ProfiPress nearly launched itself into orbit. Nearly joined the Japanese probe in moon orbit, it did!
Business idea for you guys! If you sell merch you should do giveaways. The giveaways can be really cool pressed square tubing. I think personally that would be an amazing paperweight on a desk. Do them on smaller diameter tubing so its easier to ship. Would be a hit
I would like to see you crush some of the steel ball bearings. I imagine they are super hard.
You should try a piece of a railroad track.
That vice stripped naked of its blue paint quickly.
0:30 I jumped at that!!!
I love your videos, my old brain is a bit foggy, but didn't you start with a 40 ton press, then go to 150, now 300? I know I could just check your old videos, but I'm too lazy 😁
A colab wirh the slomo guys would be great
Lol 2 metal pancakes at the end 😂
No watermelon has been harmed during those tests... Oh wait
Crushing Video
2:43 even with the pressure off, it still looks like a bomb 😬
I am still waiting on that super beyblade you promised us you would make that would be so large you had to pull it with a car
6:30 Regular Saturday night problem - piston broke.
You should update your game to feature all these new things and additions like the big press
5:18 The MUSIC you make is harrowing! 🙀
Now I know that earthquakes come from Finland.
Spurdo approves :-DD
Well, now, this merry dance of destruction is a fine reflection of the unpredictable nature of life itself. What starts as a straightforward attempt to break steel with a hammer quickly spirals into an orchestration of chaos and calamity. Each blow, failure, and unexpected outcome forms a verse in the poetry of disorder. Plans to explode go awry, weak points crumble when least expected, and finally, the whole spectacle concludes with a surprising transformation, reminding us that even our most earnest intentions can fall victim to fate’s fickle hand. It’s a humorous testament that sometimes, what we end up with isn't at all what we intended, and perhaps that’s for the best.
Yo have you guys seen the new iPad Pro ad? I'm sure you guys could pull it off better than Apple themselves lol.
Thanks for 21 subscribers 👍🙏🎉
You should sell some crushed items 😊
you guys need a real high speed camera like the slow mo guys.
Yeah the watermelon is definitely dead he didn't even feel it.😂
I would pay a hundred dollars to see a collab with the slow mo guys
What type of floor do you have to withstand the press?
I saw a youtube video about astronaut food recently. One type it mentioned was baked in a hydraulic press at 400 degrees farenheit and 3000 pounds pressure. But those are rookie numbers. What happens when you take recipes for cookies and cake and stuff and cook it under as much pressure as you can get and still make your seal hold? Can you make a brownie harder than a brick? :D What does it do to a hamburger patty?
So is that saying theres 302165lbs of force coming down on it? (I converted it. Because I'm American, not sure if it works like that though with force)
I'd like to see a 1000 ton press in action!
Oh man, imagine doing this job for a living! Can I come join!!!??? PLeaseeeeee :D
Made out of chinesium was hysterical, my new word
I wonder what indusrial use a 300 ton press would be used for...
Putting the hammer to the hammer 💥🔨
The Helsinki job is MINE!
Ive spent the last 3 years learning Finnish WHICH should come in handy here in Virginia! and im never sick at sea!
I wanna know Why am I not going to be your Helsinki station chief?
I wonder what was going through the melon's mind during that explosion...
I may of missed it. How did Hannah break her wrist?
hanna what have u done with your arm?
The Earth quake machine 🙂
MANDELBAUM MANDELBAUM MANDELBAUM!!!
3:37 Blind Melon have their new album cover!
The tougher hammer was just gone in an instant even with one sixteenth speed.
Hammer -> hammerisn't.
"Finbullet " yup shot out like bullets
They music it made!
the first hammer held up to a weight more than a blue whale
how about a cylinder of tungsten???
The guy sounds like Count von Count from Sesame Street.
Yknow if it wasn’t for the fact one of my friends is Finnish I would have genuinely forgot finland exists
When Come the Coffee maker test press video?
Spring smoke don't breath that.
