I was so happy to find that you had a video tutorial for this pattern! Originally, I ran across the pattern by another designer and after the 4th frogging, decided not to continue on.
One thing that worked better for me with your pattern was to only chain 2, at the end of the row instead of 3. Other than that, I’m so happy to have found your pattern! When I saw it, yarn that I had in my stash immediately came to mind and it’s going to be a very bright and colorful baby blanket with the color Pink Rainbow by Bernat Softee Baby Colors! I’ve started this pattern few days ago tho I’m using Robin speckled baby pink and Lilac speckled colour every 5 rows changing between these two colours it’s working out very well thanks for tutorials 🥰🙏😍

That is my very favorite stitch. Sometimes it's called the Jamie stitch. Reader's Digest called it Bushy Stitch. Complete Guide to Needlework. If you don't add the final dc and ch 2 and 1dc into first stitch plus 2 ch and 1sc it will give you a nice border.

Hi! I know this is an older video of yours but I was wondering what the main stitch is called, it's kinda hard to see the overall look of the stitches together in blanket form because the camera seems like it was picking up too much shine/glare coming off of the bright red yarn.

I am currently making this beautiful blanket. I got the exact same yarn from Hobby Lobby. I’ve noticed that the yarn has a weird chemical smell. I was wondering if you had any issues like this with your project. I have been crocheting for about 4 years and this is the first time I noticed this. I’m hoping it will come out in the wash. The yarn is nice but I get a headache when I’m working. Just want to finish and throw it in the wash. Thank you for your beautiful tutorials.
Not in this yarn, but in other yarns, I sometimes get that chemical smell. I think it has to do with the storage conditions for those yarns. I'm sure it will come out when you wash it ❤❤

Love this blanket. But I got confused with you doing single stitch on one side and then adding another skein and going right into the design. So I had to figure out that I needed to do single crochet all the way around first you didn't say to continue single stitch. I figured it out after going all the way around before knowing this

My rows seem to be growing. I think when I’ve made the 2dc, sc & then dc to join the shells that I’m losing tension maybe because that joining dc seems too large. Hope this makes sense. Any suggestions?
