  • District Chief Eric Norton, Montgomery Fire and Rescue Department, inspected his new E-ONE 110' Ladder truck and got to see first hand has fast and easy the set up of an E-ONE ladder can be for his firefighters at a scene.
They are taking delivery of a E-ONE 110' Ladder on a Quest chassis. Montgomery is an all E-ONE fleet.
If you would like more information about aerials please feel free to contact Don Rhodes (Sunbelt Fire Truck Manager) at 1-800-642-8484 ext. 103 and he would be happy to serve you.

That's pretty fast. I've seen several video's where it takes them several minutes before you see the ladder go up in the air, meanwhile the house keeps burning.

A common problem with doing such is that if your don't pay close enough attention and place the handles to close to the outrigger, you can crush the handles. With the size of the diamond plate on the front face of the outriggger i find it easier and just as safe to place the handles to the side instead...No trip hazard, no crushing of handles. Just some Food for thought.

Great job! Only thing is you should always be more careful when placing the outrigger platforms on the ground, one small mistake like that could cripple the equipment

e-ones r good but their ladders have no fail-safe for if u lose ur hyrdlic pressure. the trucks comeing back down on to the tires and its SUPPENTION, then u got a truck that is bounceing and if u got the ladder up u got a proablem

first time I see a US Aerial Lader really set up within a short time, usually I see vids where it takes 3 to 5 minutes and they say that it was fast, nice done!
What I couldn't see from the vid: was the ladder deployed to it's full length at the end of the vid? We have to set up our Aerials, deploy them to the full 100ft and turn them by 90° within 90 seconds

Bandwagon much? Why not Spartan, Seagrave, ALF, I could go on, and on, and on. I agree, Pierce is nice, but other manufacturers have very cool ideas on their apparatus.
