You totally nailed what a Jaguar buyer's priorities are. It is about looks, style, panache, presence, and comfort woven into performance. GRACE is what sells Jaguars, Pace and Space are what keeps the customer happily in love with a Jaguar. The only brand that is similar in aesthetic appeal is the Alfa Romeo and I think the Jag looks better and rides betters and is posher.
The true definition of a Jaguar is and always will be "Grace, Space and Pace", as how Sir William Lyons established the Swallow car company to what it has become.
Growing up loving Jaguar's and having experienced them, its a totally different beast from the usual German and Japanese selection. The experience of a Jaguar is summarised as an owner once told me "You could get the black interior and you're not different than getting a S-class". Jaguar's are a passion and carry distinction, the person whom drives a Jaguar will speak as a proper gentleman and not be fussed by engineering facts or figure's because they know that they stand above that. Its not snobby but it elevates and sets a tone above all else. Its old money in the new world that few would understand but many desire.
Eh, they seemed to have bad reputations due to being notoriously unreliable though...
Same goes with Mini and Land Rover, I think..

Best XE P300 review so far. Really like how you went into jaguars history and models from the past to the currently new model. Really enjoyed watching
Had the pleasure of owning one of these XE first generations..It drives SO well, the sound system is superb. The sports trim is the best out of the lot.
Worked at BMW and drove every model you could think of, I still ended up buying the XE P300. Never looked back. I thoroughly enjoyed your video and you captured the distinctions perfectly.
I owned both the previous gen XE and recently change to this new XE R Dynamic, never look back, it’s a superb beauty
are XE maintenance too expensive?

the reason why this Jag is more desirable than the 3er or C is simply because you don't see many on the road and that's due to price/CKD vs CBU. Jag is like Audi and Alfa; it is not the standard choice which automatically makes it unique and therefore the owner makes a statement because he/she is not following the masses. I wouldn't necessarily say Jag, Audi and Alfa are better than 3er or C just because they are unique.
Jaguar look atas because it don have entry level car like BMW, Audi and Mercedes price ard RM200K.

Having recently bought my new XE pretty much everything in this review is spot on. The A pillar and judging the room you have is an absolutely nightmare! The XE doesn't like to be pushed, she's more of a cruiser who likes to show off, if you do go for dynamic mode she will give you power but it's not jarring or aggressive.

the XE handles better than everything else in its class. Take the jag round a bend and you wont regret it.

3 series and C class is too common in Malaysia that if I wanna buy, i would go for M340i nxt year.
I think the new BMW design looks terrible. This new XE looks amazing.

M340i will be competition in terms of pricing. For performance m340 offers lot more. But yes jeg is another level of prestige..
M340 is all wheel drive with a six cylinder 3 liter engine

340i anytime. 4.4 sec vs 5.7 sec and Xdrive vs RWD. Nuff said
just bought G20 330i earlier of this month. the suspension is stiff as hell
M sport package? And m sport suspension? If it is you should choosen adaptive suspension its perfect beacuse of comfort and sport mode😀

I’ve had an XE for 5 years, with 40,000 Km on it. Most reliable car I’ve ever owned. No question.

I owned a 2003 X type for nearly 10 years without any problems, and people used to say the X type was rubbish. Not from my experience.
