He's a great actor in general. I'm glad I got to see him on Broadway in the giant flop "Tammy Faye" before it closes, because Borle was great as Jim Bakker (the leads were all excellent, esp Borle as Bakker and my old friend Michael Cerveris as the very evil Jerry Falwell). The problem was the show's book, and the production wasn't helped by the fact that of Elton John's songs, there isn't even one memorable or standout song (there is nothing close to a "Circle of Life" in that score). So, with a ton of bad reviews and awful word of mouth, after starting previews in mid Oct, the show announced weeks ago that it is planning to close. I wouldn't recommend spending time seeing it unless tickets are heavily discounted *and* the person considering seeing the show is such a big fan of Borle and Cerveris that he's happy to see anything either of those two are in, regardless of quality (not every show is going to be brilliant like "Starcatcher" or "Fun Home": great actors end up in plenty of awful productions, too!).
This is the most amazing odd thing i have ever heard ..i cant stop listening to it...if anyone has any suggestions of anything similiar please tell me...😂😂
@@joshuakohlmann9731 It wasn't a reject. The rest of the show is brilliant, but "Fred" just wasn't included in the cast recording (a few other songs were cut from the recording, too). Keep in mind that the recording was made back when people wanted recordings to fit on (ideally) a single compact disc (otherwise they'd need a second disc for the cast album, which was expensive to produce). So, if there were too many songs to fit on one disc - as there are in "Elegies" - cuts would be made to the recording, if not to the show as performed.
he’s perfect look at him go
he is always watching the bootlegers which for me is more uncomfortable than screaming to bootlegers
Him watching in a Willy Wonka bootleg is so much more unsettling then it should be
Omg yes, somehow he's always able to find them
wait but why is his chicken impression so good? like it's amazing
