The thing that must be so magical about being in Falsettos is how small the cast is. It's always great to have a huge, awesome ensemble, but to have a lovely, tight-knit family of just 7 people must be amazing
Captain Legs One of the reasons why the end is so heartbreaking. This show is so intimate.
During interviews:
Christian: *calm, talks slow and is pretty serious*
Andrew: *talks about having sex backstage and suffering during 2001*
Also, Andrew: Omaha Nebraska

@@deadchannel9105 I'm not even joking, I was about to type that😂😂
Halcyon Ravenclaw what interview is that from?
My absolute dream is to be as chill as Christian Borle
Julia Sahade BE MORE CHILLLL
@@michaelmell8285 My SQUIP would 100% be Christian Borle
I love Christian Borle.
That’s it.
Keep scrolling.
Christian is fantastic with everything he does. I saw FALSETTOS the week before it closed and it was the PBS filming!!!
I saw in on Broadway around 1993. Obviously, it was a different cast but they were amazing.
Am I the only one who violently sobbed the first time you watched it?
Only the first time? I wish. I watched the whole show countless times over the last couple of days and I cried (hard) every single time.
i’ve been watching it daily and violently sobbed each time
hello to everyone going through a falsettos obsession
hi
hey there
I'm back in this fucking building againnn /ref
Once read an interview with Mandy Patinkin who talked about seeing the original '92 production of Falsettos and experiencing immediate and total "role envy" to the extent that he had to keep from rushing the stage, shoving aside the actor playing Marvin and taking over the role. After the show he called his agent and said he wanted to be the next replacement Marvin and so it came to pass!
Declan John brooooo that’s so interesting even if u commented this three yrs ago
he seems like such a chill guy to hang with
He has a surprisingly calming voice. Like, it's just slow and calm.
omg several parts of his anatomy having social media accounts-- yep

WAIT WAIT WAAAAIIIT. HOOOOLD UP. BROADWAY DOESNT HAVE ICE CREAMS AT THE INTERVALS????
cas charles I got one at an intermission once at on the town
I think that's just a London west end thing. They did that at both the shows I saw in London, but none on Broadway.
They also do it here in Australia!
Nope just booze
There shouldn't be any food in my opinion. Can people not go 2.5 hours without eating?
Yes all theaters in London serve ice cream it's great
Georgia Evans Toronto too!
"carry the show on his very handsome shoulders" Christian about Brian d'Arcy James
damn , i can't believe he compared his daily routine to the family circus comics
He is the most down to earth, emotional, adorable man but he can also be the most witty and jolly man
I just watched Falsettos on Broadway HD and loved it. What I find interesting is that when I was young my family also went to London and we saw Phantom and Les Mis. Then when I was 21 or so I got to work with Christian in West Virginia at the WVPT for summer stock. After that about a year later or so, he came through Mpls in West Side Story and while I was working at the MOA movie theater he came to see a movie. He remembered me and saved me a ticket for his show. So I can say I knew him before his fame. :D. He probably wouldn't remember me though. It was so long ago. And since he isn't on social media it is impossible to get a hold of him.
That's such a nice story
christian is so polite in dis 🥺
i know🥺 he’s so polite, calm, and adorable
11:01 legally blonde was such a childhood show for me!! My mom would always play it in the car on our way to day care, and I always thought that Christian was so cool😂
'Carrying that show on his very handsome shoulders' omgggg 😂😂 19:45
I've only seen one Broadway show because I'm from the UK so I wouldn't know but I'm actually shocked; THEY DON'T SELL ICE CREAM AT INTERMISSON?!?!?! Man Americans are missing out!!!! 😂
Honestly! It’s such a UK staple! Tbh it doesn’t really make sense for us to have ice cream, it’s one of the few “snacks” that has to be kept at a specific temperature. My best guess is because you can’t make any noise eating ice cream!
The interviewer is so cute & upbeat
yaaaaas ily dad
Omg his hair I’m gonna cry
Andrew Rannells is my mom this is lowkey his best hair phase. fight me all you can.
@@peggy2983 I strongly believe the Shakespeare hair is the best. Bouncy curly front pieces for the win
I can't believe they were confused by ice cream during the interval
All theatres in the UK sell ice cream at the interval btw 👌
give him more tonys !!!
that man is so insightful, I can't....
angels in america is 8 and a half hours??
StripesofShay Part One (Millennium Approaches) is around 3.5 hours without including (usually) 2 intervals and Part Two (Perestroika) is just over 4 hours without including 2 intervals again - they're generally not performed on the same day (in London atleast), with only a few big two show days! Xx
I love him so much!!
That outfit 😍
"seeing your father crying for the first time" *insert flashbacks here*
What role do you think he was hinting at towards the end of the interview?!
My guess is he's trying to get Sweeney Todd up and running.
That was my thought too. He's said more than once when asked similar questions that he's always wanted to do Sweeney Todd.
@@srae1971 he was wonderful at pirelli (even tho i don't like that revival for reasons of the two main characters voices and all), so i hope he someday play sweeney todd too...
For the 1st time in months nobody died
Yayyyy
There were just heart attacks and gallstones
Lightbulbs up the asss
Candy thief 17 fake appendicitis which was gasss
Which I diagnosed- people overdosed and I saved themmmm
Why is he so serious here
I adore Christian with all my heart, but this is such an awkward interview.
Emma Mathews i don’t feel that it is too awkward
PearlHasAn ObsessionWithStarkid Hey, I keep seeing you on Falsettos videos! I just asked you where you found your profile pic last night:)

@Whizzerisahomosexual I feel like I see you on every Falsettos vid- great pfp by the way!
"You have to, otherwise you'll go crazy."
I think I should be in a mental hospital, then
I really wanna know the details of that mic story
christian i love you so much but TELL ME! I WANT TO KNOW WJAT ROLE
Hot Christian Borle dude
Does anybody know what dream role he was talking about?
omigodomigod
He never answered the comic book question
As much as I love Christian, this is such an awkward interview.
Why?? I love how calm and humble he is!
