THE LEGALLY BLONDE REFERENCE
when the ensemble started singing it genuinely scared him
"looks like somebody has a chip on his shoulder..." lmaooo
I don't know if he's trying to play Shakespeare as a drunk or if he's actually drunk
Prima Huang the answer is probably “yes” 😂😂
He played Shakespeare in Something Rotten and his character was like that, like slurring his words together and and acting cocky.
Both

That’s just his Shakespeare voice
I'm years late to this comment section but Christian starting to sing before Karey has any time to say anything else is such a power move.
It's always fun to revisit the videos of the Something Rotten! Cast because they're so clearly comfortable around each other that they're not afraid to have fun.
The girl that shreaked when he came on is a mood
Ok, I transcribed it on my lunch break…
A shepherd has a wooden cane he herds with
A barber surgeon has his drill and blade
But I, my friends, am what you call a wordsmith
And the brain is the tool of my trade
So I peruse the English Language
Beyond Oxford, beyond Cambridge
As I drink from my imagination’s cup
And if I can’t find the word that I’m looking for
I simply make one up
Like monumental
Like marriage bed
Like sanctimonious
That’s right, that’s what I said
And then there pander
And pageantry
Those are words you never heard until you heard of me
Those are words you never heard if not for me
Obsequiously
(Spoken) Yeah, that’s a big one
It means to ceremoniously be and then some
And what is stealthy? And savagery?
Those are words you never heard until you heard of me
Those are words you never heard if not for me
I make it up in my head
And then it’s coined
Sometimes borrowed
But not purloined
And I have a lot of fun
When I break it down
To the adverbs and the adjectives, the predicates and nouns
A giant lizard
With a crooked smile
Have you seen one?
(Yeah, a crocodile!)
But take the Spanish to the English alligator
That’s a word you never heard unless you heard of me
That’s a word you never heard if not for me
(He’s a genius)
(How does he do it?)
(He makes it look so easy, like there’s nothing to it)
Well, it’s my gift
To society
All these words you never heard until you heard of me
All these words you never heard if not for me
(If not for he)
I just make it up in my head
And then it’s coined
Eh, sometimes borrowed
But not purloined
I have a lot of fun
When I break it down
To the adverbs and the adjectives, the predicates and nouns
Hot blooded
Am I obscene?
Excuse my swagger
That’s right, that’s what I mean
Are you bedazzled?
Well you should be
These are words you never heard until you heard of me
These are words you never heard if not for me
(If not for he)
These are words you never heard until you heard of me
These are words you never heard if not for me
(If not for he)
(Spoken) You’re welcome
The little bop he does as he takes a sip at 3:33 I-
Shealyn Louster he put out his pinky too lol
not gonna lie, i watch this daily.
Why is he so attractive? ffs
Even drunk his vocals are amazing wtf
Shame this was not in the Musical. Love it. Saw the Musical. So funny. My fave song is " Hard to be the Bard" . So good.
wow same
Can I sing now?
look like somebody has a chip on his shoulder...
That's not water
We're not surprised, Christian, honestly
He did the Tom Levitt voice for the Chicken Run line!!
This man is a gift to society
this is the most video of all time
drunk christian is precious lmao
I love EVERYTHING ABOUT T H I S
I wish this was in the show
I want to see more drunk christian videos 🤣😍
I really wanted Christian to say "If WE won then why does it sit on MY mantel?" But he, obviously, has more class than I do. 😇
I agree. I felt Kirkpatrick was a tad too snarky toward Borle.
god I love him so much
1:17 3:31 4:06 Chrisitan is so gorgeous and adorable and sweet and funny!!!! This is PURE GOLD!!! 😍🤣
i can’t tell if he’s in character or absolutely plastered
3:31
Could someone please tell me what happened at 4:07?
He messed up the words and said "And I was so close to the end.".
Thanks!
The groan was so British
Does anyone have this song lyrics?
haha same can't find it anywhere
I'm stupid but what's the Chicken Run referance? I've seen the movie Chicken Run but is that what Christian's referancing?
erin camp Karey Kirkpatrick (guy on the right) co-wrote the script for Chicken Run
