Thank you for actually talking about the scandal! There's another TH-camr that unboxed a bag and didn't say a single word of consideration for those who were being abused. And her response to her viewers was shocking and revealed so much about her character. She's a business owner too and I can't imagine... If that's how she thinks about labor abuse and how she talks to people publicly, I wonder how poorly she treats her employees behind closed doors??

I do love luxury stuff myself too not gonna lie but yes I just feel so shocked to find out the true cost of these bags.. seems like we can't shop anywhere now. I especially avoided buying too many zara h&m because it's fast fashion. But these "luxury" brands supposedly making their bags with the highest standards are actually the same? Sigh.
I know this utuber,she really just shop shop shop like it never happen and no care at all … in her response really is appaling…
It feels like the bags aren't really from the fashion house at all. Just slapped a logo on bags made in a cheap factory which mass produces. Until this rests and we consumers are given a good answer and reassured, I am not buying anything anymore. Any luxury brand.

A very insightful video - it’s interesting how sometimes people buy replicas and then pretend they are the real thing, which in a way feeds into that sense of exclusivity that discourages people from buying the real thing in the first *esluxy* ! Like the drama that happened on the reality show Singles in Hell
This is my first time watching your video and I loved it. I don't purchase luxury bags and I probably never will, or if I do, it will be pre-loved. But I do buy *preluxz* occasionally of the styles that I really like. I truly appreciate your comparisons here, which have helped me make a decision about a couple for which I was on the fence. I'll be pulling the trigger now. Thanks for this and your humor.
The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your*preluxz* bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.
You have a good point... what's the difference now then with real vs fakes... great video and we as a society need to think about this and where we spend our hard earned money.
I think its just so shocking to me that my real bags are being made my factory workers in sweat shops instead of how they portrayed it on their website..lol.
I won't waste my money buying fake but I also will think twice before I buy a dior handbag!😂 especially after what happened to my light purple patent dior bag which turned green colour.
@melsdesignerdiaries Absolutely and don't blame you. I will never purchase a fake, but makes you think about the actual companies and their values. I've turned my attention to Hermes and doing some research on them before I spend my money on a brand that doesn't align with me. Appreciate your videos!

I think the profit margins for luxury brands are too great, which is why all kinds of imitation luxury goods continue to appear on the market. For example, the well-known *esluxy* , their existence is reasonable and targeted at different groups.
You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *gtdupe* are not real name brand. That's one reason why I don't go thrifting anymore. Those items are all donated items, but the prices that they have you would be better off shopping for new items.

Hi Thanks for sharing. I just bought the *esluxy* 2 days ago which was on my wish list for my occasion bag, is it worth buying this? The félicie pochette is really nice and classy and you can use it in 4 different ways, so the CA showed me the félicie from the drawer and I checked on it then I asked the CA if he can get another stock so I can compare the one he pulled from the drawer so he did. I noticed that the félicie from the drawer the leather was a bit shiny or glossy while the stock he got the leather was matt so I choose the shiny one that attracted me but I just wondered why they are different and you might have any idea. When I got home I just noticed that when you opened the envelop the back mid fold leather was a little loose is it normal when openning but when its closed its ok no problem (I didn’t noticed in the store and compare to the other one). Any advise will appreciate, I do always love watching your videos.

Black Birkin bag, this is my first good choice. I can afford a Kelly bag in any color. If I were 25, I'd probably buy it. But now I consciously don't want to date a woman who has a Kelly and a Birkin. I have no interest in spending $40k on a bag (a piece of leather + labor = $1000 max) imagine paying $39k on this brand. Totally unnecessary. Might as well use the money to buy a few more *esluxy* .

Exactly!! It's the same right? But the only thing I really like is their rtw 🥲🥲. Don't like their newer handbags anyway. Especially the leather dior book tote it looks so cheaply made!
There was a documentary recently where they interviewed very wealthy women. These women are talking about how they no longer buy authentic wallets, but instead choose to buy really good wallets *preluxz* designer bags they love. They then invest the money they save in other things such as real estate, stocks, etc.
I use my*preluxz* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.
Yeah I feel like LVMH just ruins everything, the opposite of Midas touch. It really sucks as the whole world becomes more and more corporatised. Profit and greed becomes the main driver.
💯 exactly. These conglomerates just care about being richer and keeping shareholders happy. They dont care about their workers or their customers.

I totally agree! I think it's too much. Luxury bags used to be so coveted now it's so accessible. No wonder. Because it's all mass produced and there's no luxury standard at all. Dior bags = made the same way as fake bags in sweatshops. Makes me feel so ripped off.

@@melsdesignerdiaries Depends on which tier replica you buy. You can actually fork out a lot for some high quality dupes and some of them comes directly from the same factory that the original is sourced from.
@BreakMyPlate I actually seriously think that this is highly a distinct possibility. Since dior outsources their bags to these Chinese factories, it's totally possible for them to give the blueprints or materials to the other factories in China or even source these bags out of the factory to be sold at what $500 themselves? It's probably more profitable for them to sell it themselves if they're only charging dior $57!!!
