As a brazilian I gotta say that it's better that Danilo is imprisoned in America, because if he was still in Brazil he would have been out off jail in about 2 years with good behavior.

Brazil has lots of hard core cartels right now too alot like Mexico. The red command for instance those guys are always in shootouts with the Brazilian police

When I saw this on the news, this case reminded me of "Lee Boyd Malvo." The DC Sniper attacks in 2002. This young man took a lot of lives from the back of a car trunk.

Yes. I (Patrick) was living and working in DC and Northern Virginia at the time. I remember it well.

I'm a mental health advocate and I do policy stuff for locked treatment facilities and returned service in Darwin.
    Rot in hell Danelo.
That video of this bloke crab walking out of the exercise yard was wild. High priority inmate, due for transfer, life in prison, no reason to not try and get out.
Maybe I'm weird but I'm stuck on... How do they build a prison with any blind spots, lig points or exfil?
    It's literally a prison.
Either be looking at them 👁️👄👁️ or put them somewhere they can't just leave?
It's unfathomable to me that everyone is surprised when someone with nothing left to lose or no other options does something difficult.
    Difficult ≠ Impossible.
    Great conversation guys.

Philly is in Chester County and the area he was in is a very wealthy section of suburban Philadelphia. That is why so much man power was put into his capture.

It's interesting to see how actually extensive training goes into man tracking/ hunting when talking about U.S LEO/ SOF/ SF
Because stuff like that is barely talked about.

Very true. It is an art form. There are no formal military schools that teach human tracking anymore. Myself(patrick) and yousef were the last instructors at Combat Hunter before it closed down.

Great episode! There would have been challenges going slick and silent through that terrain as well. The dispersion of the tracking team would have to be tight enough to use hand arm signals, limiting how far you could push your flankers. Hopefully this event brings more awareness to the importance of tracking teams within the state police arsenal. Children get lost too and that asset could prove priceless.

Fernando Moreira talks about this in tracking since forever ...Get trackers on it before the sign gets trampled...how many hunters run hounds thru that terrain after raccoons. You can refocus great hounds for a tracking team to get this done. I took my dog to train with Fernando and as a team you can rock & roll that track once you train in tracking skills...We need to evolve and create these teams...Great discussion...

The high school that i went to was in that area where are that guy got caught at it is very heavily wooded & with not much around unless you have a vehicle.

      Yeah, that definitely hinders searches.

@SAVAGEActual I think it would've lasted longer. If it wasn't for all that new housing that's being built up within that area.

So you date a guy, find out he previously murdered someone, and then you confront him to tell him you're gonna turn him in? Not exactly what I call smart.
