The reason for the growth in the M'sian econ is probably driven much more by stronger oil & gas revenue (which makes up 1/3rd of their fiscal revenues and oil prices have been elevated for a number of exogenous reasons) than by any impact from the reforms. Ditto to the rest of the commodities complex, which are higher due to a number of factors. Whilst the reforms are positive, but will take a lot more time to bear fruit in terms of GDP growth. @@easeky msia is plague by corruption, msia lost $52billion/year due to corruption. It's impossible to turn the economy around especially when the PM supports Pirate of the Carribean Ahjib and even tried numerous times to release him. After he had became PM, now he says there is no corruption in msia, except Dr.M Don't listen to the Malaymail daily news 'ringgit has gained against USD$'. go check online the ringgit value trend, ringgit is having diarrhea since pmx took over. time to wake up.
Reform take time and support from the majority.

Tahniah kerajaan perpanduan bawah pmx. Alhamdulillah dengan izinnya
The weak MYR is also beneficial in terms of boosting exports to the US/Europe. That's why JPM are still rating it Neutral rather than Overweight.
Need to solve the debt also then the GDP can be more lot focus for the usage of the country rather than to pay lot to the debt
@@anonymed7898 Reducing the debt means slowing economic growth. You know that, right?
Goodjob Mr. Anwar Ibrahim and team
those that work with China rise... those that work with US fall... what does that mean?
Uhhhhhh..... I think you might want to read a bit before making these sort of statements.
Us economy still solid
People said, adult will just take all, not taking choice like what kids doing. US and China companies didn't do charity by simply invest in one country, they look about profits. Malaysia is a place no natural disaster, cheap electric bill, many talents (attractable by money), no riots and relatively safe.
You telling me Intel and the recent announcement on Google Microsoft and Nvidia investing in Malaysia, these are not US company?
😂typical China bot. Malaysia plays both sides and we are strongest that way
those emos will say Malaysia is good economically but too coward to kick Blackrock out of our country while their knowledges in economy and finance is almost zero

It is still early. We understand the subsidy cuts but the soft landings for lower income are not done properly. Make use of the technology!! Use apps instead of outdated fleet cards!!. We need to see changes in reality

Good job Malaysia government..

If JP Morgan is saying this and it's reported by CNBC? It must be true right? lol
False. It’s only true if Harakah Daily reported it. After all there are so many internationally renowned economists writing in Harakah right?
@@ghrbaa6727 I don't know what that is. But everyone should know by now to NOT trust JP Morgan and Western mainstream media.
The moderate government now is not strong, it lost in a by-election recently held, if the religious and racist groups emerge, all these will be faded.
Not really. Was strong before diesel fuel hike. You need to check those statistics report about government popularity vs petrol hike. Many expect government will subsidy petrol again just before the next election.
Nope, it was turnout problem. But, having said that, PHBN should work harder to get the other side votes.
No government now is the strongest doing their job well... Narative from the unresponsible group is playing the race/ religious....is the bad people and their one agenda
It will be the responsibility of all Malaysians who love this country to educate each other and prepare a better future for the next generation.
You mean when the muslims come together again, Malaysia will go down the toilet sewer once again?
Short term pain for long term gain.... Good job PMX
Current Madani Government lead by our PMX will bring Malaysia to become developed and civilized country.
