As a longtime SolidWorks user, I fully understand the many pitfalls of careless parametrics, so I’m very excited to see what the Shapr team has come up with. I’ve played a bunch with the beta and the utility is solid, if the history can get a bit messy. Given Shapr’s focus on clarity and ease of use, I’m sure this will be an incredible addition. I do hope we will be able to use variables soon, and have some sort of equation editor for them. That would be great! On the documenting side, it would be fantastic to be able to have references that work between sheets. Anyway, I can’t wait to try this new release. Thank you very much Shapr Team!

Just started using shapr3d a week ago. I love what I'm seeing in this video and I could already make great use of it. But of course, I don't have it because it is still in beta and I'm a newbie. When will this become a standard release?

I understand the reasons to introduce parametric modeling to Shapr3D and I have no doubt it will bring value to the users who requested it. What I don't understand is why everyone is now forced to use it. Quite frankly, not everyone wants or needs this and you've effectively disrupted the workflows of these users. Some users in your forums have kindly requested the ability to disable this feature and you refused to provide it. To assume this feature brings value to everyone was naive and it appears that it was designed in a manner that it's now impossible to go back. I plead for you guys to do right by your users and allow them to choose for themselves whether this is something they want to use.

Too expensive and a poor pricing model. Fusion360 shows you how to do it right.

downloaded the Parametric beta version. Thanks for the work. Everything is very convenient and logical. Only the icons are depressing.

You had wonderful, very local professional icons. Now they look like primitive ones, created by students, not intuitive. It's a pity that this is not obvious to you. Can I return to the old interface design?
