For the people (somehow) oblivious of what is an .fla file.
So basically it's the file extension for every Adobe Animate, you may know it as Flash which its old name.
Most base fnf characters except Senpai, Spirit, Pixel boyfriend, Pixel Girlfriend and the BG freaks are made in flash, this is also the case with Most mod characters like Whitty, Annie, Tabi, Sarvente etc just to name a few.
The reason it's the program of choice for fnf characters it's because of the abily of Flash of creating sprite sheets and because of HaxeFlixel supporting only the Sparrow V2 data format
Even though Tabi is trying to stay strong, he sounds a bit scared.

I'm thinking that Friend.FLA is the embodiment of their creators deleting their mods. Their creators are killing them, like how Friend.FLA killed Whitty.
Theory : Friend.fla strips any type of power from any character and fills they're emotions with fear and despair and that's why whitty didn't fight back, cause he couldn't.

I have seen quite a few people (not in the replies) that would state that Tricky could kill friend, but I don't think so as of right now
We haven't seen that much of friend canonically, all we know is that he's killed Whitty, might be responsible for bf's death, and that two future victims are most likely Hex and Tabi (considering that one Triple Trouble cover the creator of friend made). The power friend has is quite ambiguous, and therefore, we should not quickly come to assumption that this character could defeat him.
