Usually, when I go looking for bodies to loot, if you are using your aiming sight and hover over the grass the bodies will have a outline glow, I don't know if that's something that you can turn off and on, but it's always worked for me. I just started a new playthrough myself, it's crazy how many people are starting one this year, lol.
Jeezus fuck, when I typed "outer worlds spacer's choice edition 2024" I meant if the game is glitch-free and stable in 2024, not for you to recap exact fucking story the game had when it came out.
@@michaelklein3244 Yeah, that is what I was wondering, thank you. I heard that "Spacer Edition" had lots of issues, and I was wondering if those were addressed.
The 1.6 update dramatically improved the PS5 version, it now stays within the VRR range like 95% of the time, if you love first person RPGs like I do then I'm sure you will enjoy it
3:11 I kind of agree it is one of the most useful things that came out of fallout 76 Another thing I liked is you could just do a whole area so you could search like 15 dead bodies in an area and made luting so much easier
I'm sick he said outer worlds in 2024 but didn't experience none of the new content, talk about changes, play the DLC; i feel this video wasn't done justice. this isn't a comparison of now from when the game came out. it was only the beginning. typically when people do videos like this they will play the whole game then tell their opinions of it today.
For finding the dead bodies I had to reduce the grass density. It was ashamed I had to do that but made it a lot easier and less frustrating to find the dead bodies. The crows also helped give away where the dead bodies were. Other than that the game was enjoyable even with a few hiccups I had.
Irony of the Tim Curry clip being that he was only hired when EA took over - arguably the worst thing to happen to Command&Conquer, westwood in general, and their brethren from Bullfrog, Orgin, possibly MicroProse. Oh right and he was also in the only outright bad red alert game.
That rampage though xD They got you down pretty fast but didn't notice their dead friend at all?! At least your follower was loyal 🤔 Thanks for checking the game out!
*TOW* was a decent enough game. Just didn't live up to its potential. If nothing else, it's a stable foundation upon which to build better ones. Here's hoping *TOW 2* takes the stuff that worked in the first and expands upon it. This is a universe I'd like to look further in to.
It does sometimes feel like New Vegas can be a bit of a curse for Obsidian, as a fair few people out there will hype them up because they made that game, rather than expecting something more in line with their other titles
What ticked off a lot of gamers (including me) was Obsidian upgrading the game but keeping it as two separate editions for Xbox S/X owners. In other words if you bought the game for the S/X before the update then you had to buy the S/X version at full price. . .at least Bethesda reduced the price for S/X Skyrim update via the Anniversary Edition.
That is pretty annoying. I only ended up getting this version because Epic gave it away at the end of last year. Definitely wouldn't have paid for the game again to just have an upgrade
Well if memory serves the devs themselves weren't behind this rushed remaster. I thought the same but I think around its launch I read that they didn't do it.
I'm sorry but if you don't notice the graphical improvements in the spacers choice edition then your blind, it was immediately noticeable for me on PS5, but I did wait a year for a sale and for them to improve the performance which they did, and I played the OG PS4 version on my PS4 pro back in 2020 and 4 years later and I still noticed the improvements, definitely more noticeable than dark souls remastered which was just an upscaled version of the original with higher resolution and higher framerate but that was it, I think your bias for games you like gets in the way of your judgment, I love dark souls 1 but I also love the outer worlds, both dark souls remastered and the outer worlds spacer's choice edition are better versions than their originals, which is usually the case for remasters don't I don't know where ppl get it in their head, these are games that were originally praised when they first came out but then all of a sudden better remastered versions come out and ppl are bashing a better version of a game that they originally praised, ppl are weird, there are constantly new games and new IPs being released but ppl just focus on the ports, re releases, remasters and remakes like they are the only games that exist, completely ignoring the 90% of games that are new
I didn't like it. Too much full-on blat all the time vs. bullet sponges and constantly running out of ammo. Not enough RPG. After thousands of hours in New Vegas playing every character imaginable, it was a major disappointment.
Did you play in Hard Mode? I've seen a lot of comments about no ammo or too difficult, my first time playing it in at least 4 years was very easy, like too easy, a lot of ammo, not difficult to kill enemies, easy to loot, etc. I don't understand this comments about it.
Not enough RPG?, theres tons of RPG here, attribute allocation, stat progression, perks, pretty solid loot system and tons of dialog with many ways to influence the world through stats, that's what RPGs are, progression is the key to a great RPG, either you suck at games or you didn't even try, I never ran out of ammo, the game was incredibly easy on normal difficulty
@mathewhosier9739 i like the game but stats do not equal roleplay. Roleplay games have been bastardized because of code limitations. Roleplay is about agency, not stats and arbitrary progression. The dialogue and factions offers fairly decent roleplay but that's about it in the agency department.
Completely disagree with the replayability. Considering its a very small game i think they made the replayability quite well. I think the exploration is very poor and maybe that's what you meant by how when you replay, the first area emerald vale takes over 2 hours to leave if you wanna do everything. Emerald Vale offers 3 main outcomes, Roseway offers 2 outcomes with some specifics, Monarch offers 3 main outcomes, and the ending has Phineas Welles and the Board endings. Not to mention the 2 DLCS also have over 2 outcomes each. I've recently completed my 5th playthrough and did an evil scientist science weapons kind of character with no companions and its completely different than my other 4 since the game came out.
I do think the openness of the game gets better later on. For me I've just never been a big fan of quests that just go for the same thing with binary choices at the end

I imagine there's a fair few people jumping back in while waiting for Outer Worlds 2
@@BADCompanySarge Very True, I love the game so far, I can't wait to see the endings.
Was free on epic

Same brother
It's much better than what it was 6 months ago if that says anything. It's not perfect but they did update it and it's much better than release lol.
@@michaelklein3244 Yeah, that is what I was wondering, thank you. I heard that "Spacer Edition" had lots of issues, and I was wondering if those were addressed.
@@karcistvahlae1207I'm currently playing on last patch and it runs well, no fps drops at all. 1440p with a rx6700, +100 fps.

76 has made some great quality of life improvements over time

The crows sound like a neat little detail

One thing I don't like about the game is how quickly death occurs. Much prefer a slower TTK/TTD

Fingers crossed the sequel will be a big improvement
I had a similar experience with this game, which is a shame because I’d been really looking forward to it
I definitely enjoyed one play through of it, but going back to it never felt rewarding
top 5 game of all time for me honestly. just finished my 2nd playthrough it never gets old
Glad you've been enjoying it. Fingers crossed the feeling will last for you
Lol I have spent hours looking for ashes in the grass😅
The main reason I rarely use plasma weapons.
Just started it, actually like it, hope will love it 😁
It was an ok game in my opinion but after all the hype that it got from Obsidion fanguys I was expecting a bit more from it than I got.

Got the Spacers Choice edition free on Epic. Damn the game runs terrible I heard it was a different studio that handled it
That sucks, seemed to run okay for me but I didn't play it for very long so who knows how things would be after a while

Na outer worlds looks miles better on ps5 and series x pc it’s not as clear
Glad to hear there's at least a decent visual improvement on console
I liked it
That's good
