    Oh the classic “pretend to be the antagonist to protect a loved one” only in this case they all went so hard to the point of making it seem like everyone she loved just used her in her entire life that they literally left her broken and aimlessly “free”,what could go wrong?

      I just feel like if it was only Miorine rejecting her and taking Aerial away, OR Eri rejecting her and Prospera abandoning her, that would have been enough. But to go through both, that was brutal. Because if Suletta had ignored Miorine, but could still pilot Aerial, or if Suletta at least had Miorine to support her through the family turning on her, Suletta could have made a difference much sooner, and probably saved some lives.

      Lady Prospera doesn’t love Suletta at all, she used her, and then she disposed of her like a flawed clone Suletta is. It’s so obvious that Lady Prospera loves Eri, her REAL daughter, which, btw, she was the one who transferred her own daughter into a Gundam. Misunderstanding tropes are tried, tested, and imfho annoying part of story telling especially when it is done in a tasteless manner. I can somewhat understand Propsera the agent of Vengeance who has probably killed so many Suletta clones more than she can count and the machine that has a trapped soul of a child's attitude towards Suletta, but Miorine? You need to be denser than Granite to not see that she is speaking to literally a child trapped in an adolescent body in Suletta to be giving her mind games/silent treatment similar to how her father treated her in which Miorine said she hated especially during the time her mother died and her dad said nothing.

    • @Peasham
      @Peasham ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@strafe_breaker3440 Nah you got it backwards, Miorine (and Guel for that matter) both make perfect sense in regards to their backstories. See, what they did to Suletta is what both of their fathers did to them, and I mean exactly just that, word for word. This is because that's what they've been taught to do their entire lives, and just recently they learned that their fathers treated them like that out of "love". Miorine SHOULD know better, she's the perfect example of Suletta and Chuchu's methods working... but due to her lifelong abuse it's no wonder why she chose to repeat it, it's a cycle and all that.
      As for Prospera, she's the only one who's second guessing the whole thing my guy, and she was easily the softest and most empathetic to Suletta out of all of them. She still views her as her daughter, despite it all. And frankly, I can't believe she's abusing her the least at this point lmao

  • @diahaaul
    @diahaaul ปีที่แล้ว +17

    Clone ?, key ?, many say eri is a criminal, but she does it to keep suletta off the war cycle. From this angle she always swallowed raw every command she was given, perhaps eri did so in order to make her a whole person. And have you ever imagined that a clone has the exact same potential as its original, what if suletta had been given a plain unit of gundam? Didn't she share the same fate with eri? Or even permet 9, which we don't know to what extent it could be. Because eri was only a child at the time, but suletta was clearly a teenage girl.

  • @tal2862
    @tal2862 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I've always felt like this was one of, if not the most impactful scenes of the anime, purely because we actually get a better understanding of Eri and Prospera in their relationship with Suletta. Prospera is an interesting character. The majority of the anime we just feel super suspicious of her and her motives and how it'll affect Suletta. And while yes she manipulated Suletta and used her to get Quiet Zero running, she was never actually hostile towards Suletta. It's also an interesting choice of character design to hide her eyes for the majority of the anime. Eyes can show a lot about a character, and Prospera's are very expressive. Note that they show us her entire facial expression at 1:37 to emphasize the impact of the revelation that she does somewhat care for Suletta. Also, 0:13?? Look at how tender she was with baby Suletta, kinda made me want to cry.

      I think that would be the only way to keep her relevant to the story. What else is she supposed to do? Go to school like her mom told her do and accomplish her dream of opening a school on Mercury? Sure they can down that route. But if they do, then do we really need to focus on Suletta for the rest of the series? Right now I think she'd be a fool not to turn into a villain for being abandoned. Plus I don't know what relevance she'd have if she didn't.

    • @Blackvez20
      @Blackvez20 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @@shane5200 Its one possibility to keep her relevant is when you think about now at this everyone has abandoned Suletta at this point. So whats the biggest middle finger can Suletta can do. By not abandoning them like they did to her. We're talking about her sticking her noses to their business no matter what the cost. And maybe its time to give her some character development cuz up until now Suletta has been naive. Without a clear path to what she really wants just mindlessly following her mother's order. But with this she might mature big time. Man the possibility of a Prospera vs Suletta finally is still in the table.

    I think Aerial and Prospera realize they may not come out of what they have planned alive, and while they did use Suletta for their own ends, they do care enough to let her find her own path, and not be bound to the same fate. Sometimes cruelty is the only kindness you can give.

      Do you mean the song at the end? It's Red Birthmark. It's the ending song for season 2.
