Meanwhile Tieria went from a ultra-androgynous fem-boy to some hyper-masculine man-hunk. the only way they could have pumped up the testosterone is if Seravee was decked out with Gatling guns and missile launchers like Heavyarms, and given Barbatos warhammer.
Would have been better if we saw the whole version of this and afterwards get to see the Celestial Being crew siting in theater and commenting on the differences to the real thing.

1:21 I love how the subbers just threw in an extra "-tachi" just to have more Japanese in their translation, as if they needed to meet a quota or something. "To properly translate Japanese to English, we must insert MORE UNTRANSLATED JAPANESE." I applaud whoever provided the fansubs for this movie- parodying terrible fansubs was a brilliant idea and really helped sell the whole self-parody feel of this segment. Kudos.
It even appeared in Super Robot Wars, with most of the mook units being replaced by mass produced Messiahs (Macross Frontier). The fact that they were all Alto models... Was a coincidence they noted very well.
I know these subs are taking the piss but they honestly feel better than some official subs nowadays. They made this scene significantly more memorable.
