It would be a great story if only edited properly..this is like a scrambled eggs now. There are too many loop holes, it’s a pity. I really like this film because of the many talented characters.
This Ming dynasty was the eras that I had watched through the TV series from HongKong that China has her great influences over the neighbors -- north, south, west, etc. with more political marriages.
It seems like a huge gap between the start of this and the ending of “season 2”. This video is half the time. Maybe the first half is the gap in the time frame here. Time skipped over the young Emperor’s life between - as stated - as a child end of season to to a fight for the beginning of this season 3. It doesn’t make sense with that missing portion to know what is happening in the story. No idea who is who. 2 minutes in & knowing this isn’t going to get better, sadly. It was a good story.

I though, according to the history, the emperors after Yongle, who greatly stabilized the Ming dynasty, had to achieve more on internal affairs as the military was so great systematically. So it's become to us the audience that they were not aggressive enough.

Better to watch the 62 episodes of this series. It fills in all the gaps that we don't see in this. Wish I had started there.

Tahi lah plis season 2 dan 3 udah cukup bikin otak mungil ku bekerja 2× lebih keras setidaknya ada season 4 yang memberikan ending yang cukup jelas
