Movie started off like Prince & the pauper. If the pauper would betray the prince! Prince found love & happiness with a commoner woman. Brilliant script & acting! Kudos & aloha
I cannot say enough how satisfied I was over this great movie. It was so easy to follow. I didn’t get lost like in so many other Chinese stories. Great actors and action. Just an excellent movie all the way through.👍✅👏👏👏
If you are a fan of the time period the Detective Dee movies are really good and take place during the Tang Dynasty.
Excellent film, love, talk, fight.... everything in a perfect balance. I love Chinese Dramas and this one is really great.

Wow, me & my cat enjoyed watching this exciting & thrilling episode about the REAL Emperor & his Concubine/Empress wife finally taking over the throne. This entire episode always keeps my cat's ears up like an owl 🦉LOL AWESOME! 🐱🐱👍👍✌✌ That villain & sinister Li Fuguo Is POUNDED & KILLED by the POUNDER (who portrayed as the fake Prince/Emperor) for persecuting peasants. A happy ending after all! 👍👍✌✌
As a Chinese you should no better about the life of King Daizong. This was mostly fantasy, and falsifying history. Good day.

This had little to do with the real story of King Daizang (Li Chu) from Tang, more or less a fantasy drama. There was no imposter looking like Daizong amongst other things, but it was entertaining, the actors and actresses convincing. But as King Daizong had an interesting life, a real history movie would be great.
