I hear this game now has a multiplayer mod!!! If its good, I would love to do a video on it, but I don't think any of my friends really play this game. If you want to help me look into it, join my discord and let me know! discord.gg/BCkXYQxMs8
H3 is still the best gunplay simulator around. From a country that has strict gun laws (which im ok with), its a chance to play around with things im never going to touch in my lifetime unless i go to florida.
@@bmackVR I'm just using Florida as an example because I went to Disney and it was wild seeing shooting ranges and gun stores on every block. Complete culture shock coming from Canada.
@@majorphysics3669 ohh yeah… I actually just got back from there 1 month ago. And yeah our hotel was right next to a Costco sized gun store. Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Tennessee would also probably be a pretty big culture shock for you as well. And in New Orleans you can stop at a drive through and get an alcoholic daiquiri to go, don’t worry though, they leave the wrapper on the top of the straw…. Just the top.
One of the truly great things about Take and Hold is that its always able to communicate to you *exactly* what you're doing wrong. It has a habit of immediately punishing you for mistakes and bad play that feels tough but fair. I have 650 hours in this game right now, I've got a couple #1 leaderboards, and the game still lets me know exactly how much I suck when I slip up
You’re totally right. When you’re quick, on target and efficient with your reloads. The game almost looks easy and boring to watch. But the second you fall behind, miss a few shots, or fumble a reload, you’re right, it makes you pay. Right now I really need to learn the new holds in The Institution, they are punishing me. I think Anton for the pacing of this new level back on track. Northest Dakota is a little slow for me, it’s like I am always running around to find a ramp or climbing point.
It’s been well worth the $20. It does have a bit of a learning curve though. I recommend using the simplified control scheme on quest headsets, and easy mag reloading. From there learn how to spawn lock ammo so you don’t run out. Oh and every gun spawns with the safety on, so you’ll need to learn how to switch between the firing modes. Start with classic hallways, way easier than the other 2 maps.
@@bmackVR Oh, I am an Index user. It didn't look like there was loads of fast turning around so I wasn't concerned about the cord...or are you saying the game is geared to oculus or has oculus exclusive game modes? (zero research on my end at this point and that is a thing I have learned to look out for). Otherwise, so long as it isn't too janky, I rather like realistic reloads. Into The Radius and Zero Point VR are quite fun.
@@jasony8480 I played this game on index for years. It’s much better on the index. Press the bottom of the touch pad to eject a mag, press side of the touch pad to switch firing modes. Hold down on the touch pad to twirl revolvers around your finder and so on. Keep the standard control scheme and make sure you set your movement option to your liking. This game has more locomotion modes than ford and GM.
I would be surprised if it ever went on sale. The dev still works full time on basically this game alone. And as a consumer, I would certainly love to see it go on sale, but I also can’t really blame Anton for not doing it. For me it’s been $20 well spent, right now I’m sitting at 115 hours played.
$20 is an absolute steal for the content of what you get. It's never been on sale before, it's never going to, so I would just buy it at $20. It's totally worth it.
@@HappyMan0203 oh hell yeah it is. For me if you compare my playtime to its price. I essentially paid 17 cents for each hour of entertainment lol. Insane value.

It IS good, and would be happy to play some with you sometime
@@TheBaldrickk awesome! Did the institution update break it?
@@bmackVR unfortunately, yes, but I believe that's being worked on, if it hasn't been fixed already
And I found out today that it has indeed been fixed for a while now
@@TheBaldrickk nice! Is it on thunderstore?

Florida is kinda like the hot dog of America…. But yeah I agree!

I believe Anton has stated that the game will never go on sale, so if you're interested you don't have to wait!
sadly it never goes on sale but it’s definitely worth $20
