  • The owner needed some topsoil for the yard around his new house. So the house contractor dug the topsoil out around an existing pond that I cleaned out a few years back. There was a big hole in his field so we incorporated it into the existing pond and made it bigger.

Going to a sweet little pond when you get it finished, made good use of the soil for sure, thanks for the update, nice to have the D6 back I would bet, enjoyed watching.

Nice pond build. Hopefully new holds water. You must do what your customer wants. You told him it was best not too.

That pond come up looking good thanks for the video.Regarding the fuel pressure problem on your Kobelco 210 the symptoms you speak of suggest either a blocked or restricted main outlet line in the fuel tank or blocked banjo filter. The banjo filter is screwed inside one of the inlet fittings that is screwed into the filter housing inlet side. Most of the Japanese diesel's have a banjo filter. In some machines it may be in between the tank and fuel pump If the main line from the tank is undone at the filter, fuel should flow freely from a full tank if it does not its a good place to start looking. Regards , Sam.

Thanks Sam! I’ve been running it hard on some other pond projects and it’s been running perfectly.🤷‍♂️
I don’t like the plastic sediment bowl type fuel filter they use. After a hand full of times draining the water out the threads on the drain get so tight you can’t hardly keep it from leaking . I’ve changed the sediment bowl with a new OEM one once and it’s doing it again. I’m going to see if I can find a filter that will work but doesn’t use the bowl, but just a drain on the filter it’s self. Thanks for the info!
