@@Jarret888 That would've made sense... The best that oil got was for the grit to settle in those buckets, to be used again to retain oil at the next engine overhaul... They call it running-in paste 🤣. Seriously though, these guys have an excellent work ethic.

Wow that machine seems too nice for a repair like that you can't tell me they're not getting sand and grit and everything they never cleaned the chunks out of the bottom of that unit they put old oil back in they did not have proper tools to remove that locking collar so they just beat it up with a hammer
Every caterpillar shop in the US would know how to repair the rear tandem, along with several independent shops, & other dealership shops. Caterpillar isn't the only manufacturers of road graders in the US.

Fresh oil after a repair might be an intriguing concept to persue into the future.

old oil right back in..shame. also really busted that locking collar nut up, just build a wrench for it, dont be lazy.

C'mon Mbongeni, can't you tell by what they replaced... The fibre sleeves and thrusts were worn, which usually mean they leak oil from the pivot hub.
