The Doux has the best mousse hands down! She now has a Honey line which also has a mousse...works great as well! She also advises make sure to put it on the roots first real good then down the length of the hair to avoid puffy roots.

I know what you mean with it not looking like your curl pattern. It’s because it clumps your hair rather than separate it if that makes sense. I prefer a separated curl, as it gives me more volume. Try the gel next and then the design essentials mousse 🤗

This was my go-to styling product for a while, but I sadly can't use it anymore because I found out that I have a fragrance allergy. 😥I really hope they come out with a fragrance-free version!

I've been using TGIN's mousse for my wash n go's for a while now. It's probably weird order, but I do leave in, oil, THEN mousse. My hair stays moisturized and holds without the crunch.
I use the honey gel for my wash and go's and the honey mousse for other styles and it's so good. It's my new go to, I stopped using wetline and it's a good replacement for me.
I'm looking for this tomorrow. My mom's hair is growing back from chemotherapy and it's thin so most products are too heavy. This looks like it'll work well for her.

Might have to give this a try once my hair has been cut and shaped from my Pandemic Haircut (TM), lol. I usually use curl puddings, but I'm often left with hard-cast hair, so this could be a nice alternate option for days when I'm too lazy to blow dry and flat iron.

Hey boo Vigorol is actual mousse that we pick up in the ethnic hair product aisle, she cost about 5 dollars and it has 2 versions I commonly see olive oil and the relaxer friendly pink one. Idk if it's going to work for wash n go but I'd love to find out

I was gonna say that the Doux left my hair sticky but I didn't know a leave-in was not required for this! I think when I used that leave in with the mouse my hair was instantly oversaturated with product. When I wash may hair again im gonna just try it alone and see what happens because these results are so nice
I had the same reaction when I used black mousse companies for the first time. When I was younger I tried More “white” geared mousse and it did nothing so I assumed mousse was not for me lol

I was so used to having to layer on multiple products (water, leave in, oil, creme, gel) to achieve style and hold that I used to use Mousse Def with their gel Big Poppa but I finally decided to trust it and use 1 or the other and not BOFFUM! I never thought I'd get definition, moisture, AND hold all in 1 product. I love The Doux!!!

Part of the problem you’re experiencing with the product is that you need to shake the contents of the bottle. Doing this will give you thicker foam.

Are you high porosity?
@@EsiaAF Low porosity. I think that's why sealing the leave in with oil BEFORE adding the mousse works for me
I haven’t tried this mousse but I have low porosity hair and I also do this order because my hair feels more moisturized this way.
I am Low Porosity too . Did you apply to soaking wet hair or damp hair . Just curious.

I use this with Uncle funkys. One pump Uncle funkys per section, followed by mousse def. The results are spectacular!
Yeah I've tried mousse on my natural hair it didn't went well most of the time I use mousse as a finishing touch on my braids.
