But always end up having to wash after 2-3days instead of my usual 5-7days because the hold doesn't last for me.. Thank you for dropping this gem of info.. The Doux definitely changed the game with mousse def! She formulated it with a leave in, so that you don’t have to layer a crazy amount of things, to achieve one’s desired result! The doux is great. Reminder that this product, like a lot of foams and mouses, can result in build up. What ppl will consider “dry” will be the moisture evaporating after a few days but with consistent use without a regimen that prioritizes hydration/cleansing, it can build up. Anywho, typically I use it closer to a clarifying shampoo session or if I want like date hair or like effortless hair that I don’t expect to last a long time. I’m a seesome curls girl so that’s where I learned that information!

    Your hair turned out beautifully Whitney. I've been kinda reluctant to use mousse on a wash and go. I've used it on my hair after I've braided it. I definitely didn't use a lot though. But now I'm wanting to give this a try. Thank you for sharing with us.

  • @1GoldenBreeze
    @1GoldenBreeze 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Yes, this WnG looks so much better!👍👏 My favorite thing about a mousse WnG is that it takes less time to dry.💜 I apply in or outside of the shower and each gives a different look to my coils. The only thing I don't do is use the brush, but that's just a personal choice. I don't like singling either, LoL. I think the drying is more noticeable as the WnG wears and during the next wash, but conditioning takes care of it.

    Hi Naptural85! I hope you are doing well and staying safe. I have been a fan of yours since 2011. Probably before and you really made me embrace my hair and love it! I recently purchased the twist elongation creme and had my hair world rocked! I just got your leave-in and OMG!!! I have tight tiny diameter 4c kinks and curls and that detangler is magic!!! I used it to detangle my hair before I twisted it out. The detangled sections were just twirled and clamped to hold it out the way before I added the twist creme and actually did the twist out. I was shocked! The leave in alone defined my tight curls to where I had to really think hard about bothering with a twist out at all. The leave in was giving me a perfect wash and go definition! I'm so glad you have released your talents and genius to the natural world and the world at large! You have been such a blessing!! Thank you so much and I wish you and your family well in all your endeavors!💞💕

At first I was afraid, because I was like JUST a mousse on my naturally dry course type 4 hair?????? But it turned out AMAZING. And it stayed moisturized the whole entire week. I was shocked. AND it wasn't a tangly hot mess during wash day. I'll def buy this mousse again 😁.

    • @Naptural85
      @Naptural85  2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Hey Phyllis! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video! 🥰🙏🏾 For bald spots just from pulling or tight styling, you’ll want to do nightly head massages to circulate the blood in your scalp and stimulate hair growth - using a beneficial hair oil or oil blend! You also want to make sure to not tug at the area during styling. If you can leave it alone in the style, that’ll be best! We have an amazing one at Melanin Haircare (currently available at ULTA Beauty and Sephora.com) 🎉 If you want to mix you own, some great hair oils to use that will stimulate hair growth on the scalp are: Olive Oil, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, castor oil - and essentials to mix in: tea tree oil, rosemary oil, pumpkin see oil, sage oil, peppermint oil… to name a few! I hope this helps! 😘😘❤️
