I really need to stop thinking used cars are 7 years old and older.
All of these cars except for the Prius and maybe the 2nd generation Volt will soon have no support for repairs. Mini coopers just break after 100,000 miles. Turbo charge anything is just when it will blow up.
Kia Sportage my dad engine went dead after 130000
It's good now but would becareful after 100000 miles
You should definitely add a 1990 Honda Civic. No trouble getting 46 miles to the gallon below 60 mph on the highway. City with some less maybe 36 mpg
My 1987 Toyota Corolla FX was right up there. This hatchback had a 5-speed.... 1.6 engine and got 40mpg on highway.
I really miss that car😢
Skoda Octavia 150 Hp Caravan 71Mpg...it can do 78Mph if don't go over 60. Too bad America never got Skoda, they are a great car manufacturer.
Who drive under 60 tho?
You need something that can do 100 mph reliably in the US
2009 Ford fusion city mileage is 39-40, hwy 29-33. It is not my favorite road trip car but it is descent transportation. It gets crushed on the highway by non-hybrid models. It also gets beat by our Hybrid Sienna van and would get trounced by either a Dodge or Chevy half ton diesel pickup that offers way more space and flexibility. I would never put the Fusion on any modern fuel mileage list.
Also remember hybrids are more expensive than gas cars to insure. My fusion costs 40% more than my gas wagon. Would go diesel or small displacement turbo if I would have known what I know now
I am shopping in 2023 for an older SUV that can tow 3000lbs. Currently my 5.3l Chevy gets around 15 overall mileage on good days, my hope is that a suv with a 6cylinder will do better. Question???? Will most 6 cylinder, 4x4, SUV’s all produce roughly the same MPG, 16 to 20? Picking a Chevy a ford a Toyota, Honda etc… does it really matter?
4runner is a great option. I have an 04 that I use to tow 3 and 4000 lbs. they are expensive but worth it
Buddy... If you Didn't say "Groovy Baby"... I wouldn't have rewatched to actually acknowledge your facts. we had to wait for it but the marketing came thru 👍👍🙏👍👍
The volt gives you up to 50 miles on a charge and the gas motor can add 300 miles. I'm not sure what "the electric motor gives you 300 miles of torque" means lol
300 lbs of talk he said
why are you including hybreds? that some BS there.
Hybrids are iffy if the generator unit goes bad that is a very costly repair
yes but anything can also go wrong with a regular gasoline car .transmission problems or engine problems. Even with the cars everybody is told are the most reliable.
Most prius owner's have never heard of a generator going bad. Which means they rarely ever do.
@@wisdomandlove1661 very true but the thing is i can work on a regular gas or diesel vehichle to an extent when the computers etc start acting up im out of my element
@@MyLifeThai371 sorta depends one what you buy it at should have specified high milage
@@MyLifeThai371 had one with 180k miles went out 5k replace
You missed 4th generation Prius. They are much more efficient than the 2nd and 3rd generation Prius.
Also 1st generation GM Volt requires Premium Fuel with poor MPG in hybrid mode.
Because they’re too expensive
I need a gas saving sedan. I have to put things in the trunk or thieves will break in. It rains a lot here. I'm in the Pacific Northwest. I don't have access to plug in the car unless I go to a docking station. What is my best bet. I've been going back and forth between Civic and Corolla. I test drove a Prius but I didn't feel like I had a clear line of site. Also. It was a hatchback. So if I keep anything in there a thiefs would see it. Crime is so bad here. Any suggestions? Thanks so much
malibu hybrid
Yes I recommend you move to a state where your government actually enforces the law, unfortunately that means moving out of the Pacific Northwest.
Tint your windows
Just because you have a hatchback doesn't mean thieves can see what's back there.
TAG YOUR VIDEO TIMELINE. Nobody watches it like this anymore.
How about Nissan altimas
Absolutely not

You should have said "sorry Joe Biden" about the electric cars being pushed on us.
No one is pushing anything dumb fuck. Was society pushing cars on us back when we rode horses? No. We evolve constantly. Use your brain. If you have one 😂.
Will stay clear away from vw way too expensive to maintain
Got a transcript of this video! You are talking too fast to make all this info useful without constantly rewinding and pausing the video.
You do know you can slow down playback speed on here right ?
VW TDI best mileage
Yeah but they aren’t reliable at all
@@Ilostmyairpod1.9 best ever lol
Old scion xb
These cars are like 7years old l don’t want to buy a car that old 😂😂😂😂
Fuel economy cars is all about saving gas not saving money,,,but the way they get advertised you think you might save money.
Just an example ,
10 gallon fuel car tank
10 miles per gallon
=100 Miles per tank
At $1.00 a gallon it takes $10.00 to fill the tank.
Now the advertise a car that gives 20 miles a gallon,,,now I'm thinking i can drive more with less fill ups and save money..
Example 2
10 gallon fuel car tank
20 miles a gallon
=200 miles a tank ,,,Great!!!
But now they raise the price on the gallon of gas $2.00 a gallon
So now instead of $10.00 to fill tank is $20.00 to fill tank,,,,so we are saving on the use of gas but not money,,the gas companies have to make up the money of people going less trips to fill up their tanks..😂
dont talk too much
Massive Profit no matter what. Great example btw.
noice!

Why do your eyes keep popping out of your head?

The Ford essentially gets infinity miles per gallon. It will only lose a half of a teaspoon of gas vapor in fifty miles… while it’s sitting on a flatbed tow truck on the way to the junk yard.
