I made these and they were amazingly delicious... everyone loved them... they were rich and my guests asked for the recipe and to take home to their families as well... they were a hit... thank you for this amazing recipe ❤️
Thanks for the update...I keep my Guinness in the cupboard, so it didn't occur to me that some people might keep it in the fridge! Glad to know that tip for future readers.
I just found your channel last night and I'm in love! You make everything very easy to understand and you seem extremely passionate about baking. :) IM definitely making these for my uncle. :) thanks!
This is such a good idea! I live in Northern Ireland and bake for my uni class all the time - they're gonna LOVE these for St. Patrick's Day :D Bailey's and hot chocolate is AMAZING, by the way, you should try it :)
Almost all of my family is either from scottland or ireland and every year we make a guinness cake with bailies drizzle i wish i was old enough to eat it
Yes, the Guinness is at room temperature. You could try to use Hershey's coco, but I'm not sure if it is cocoa powder or powder for chocolate milk. If it's for baking you will be fine...but if its for chocolate milk, you might want to go and get some cocoa powder from the store :)
I made these cupcakes, and I was pleasantly surprised. I am NOT a fan of Guinness, but a friend of mine recommended this recipe because she told me that the Guinness does amazing things to the chocolate taste, which I admit, she was right. I tried to get the Bailey's, but they wanted 30 bucks for the bottle, and since we're not drinkers in my house, I wasn't going to pay 30 bucks for a bottle that I only needed a few tablespoons from. Instead, we found a cheaper brand: Merry's. The flavor we got that I didn't realize it was until we got home was Merry's White Chocolate flavored Irish Crème. With this, the frosting came out AMAZING.
I made this into a cake for my dad's birthday. 2 9" rounds took about 35 mins in my oven. I found the cake to be more dense than chocolate cakes a normally bake. Delicious nonetheless! Thanks for sharing :)
Ihi Jen! It's Juliette , the winner of the contest. I have great news to announce that I will be in cranbrook at the end of march for a hockey tournament. And I wi for sure visiting your bakery! Thanks again so much for all your awesome videos !!
You are amazing. I have a couple questions for you. Have you taken any baking or decorating classes? Also, Where do you get your recipes and who are your favourite baking or cooking youtubers?
Hello Jen, i have a question for you, if i wanted to make a cake instant of the cupcakes, do i still use the same amount of flour? Also i would like to put the buttercream in the cake as my filling and cover the cake before i put the fondant on it, will it stay or should i use something else to frost the cake?
Brilliant! Gonna make these as I love Baileys and love guiness! Will the original Baileys work or does it have to be the mint flavour (not fond of mint flavoured things) :)
such an amaizing recipe i woul love to make it but i live in mexico and am not sure if i can find Guinness here or can you tell me what kind of drink is it? please i would love to make them..! your soooo very talented..!
Instead of adding so much Baileys, could I just add maybe 3T and then then rest 1/2 and 1/2 or milk to thin it out? Thanks for sharing. They look yummy!
Yes, yes, you should!! They're delicious.
No problem...enjoy.

Was the frosting runny? Too much liquid is likely the culprit.
You could use plain yogurt.
You are amazing. I have a couple questions for you. Have you taken any baking or decorating classes? Also, Where do you get your recipes and who are your favourite baking or cooking youtubers?
I've never had that problem, so I don't know what you might have done.
Oh my goodness. I know I would love these! :)
I hate guinness but love bailey's! I hope to try this sometime though.
When she was heating the butter in the microwave she said that she was going to "malt" it!😊😊. She's so funny.
These look yummy, I have a quick question for you, today I made the redvelvet cupcakes with the frosting, What did i do wrong that it was too runny?
Thanx for sharing👍🏻👍🏻
Everything good in the world, contained in a cupcake!
