1st off....Thanks for all the Videos Jordan! You've helped me find some great stuff this summer! 2nd, let me be the fist to say that the "Go-Pro" effect took some of the STEEP off of the video ;-) I thought I'd seen tech before coming here.....Although like their sticker says: Keep Nepaug Gnarly I was lucky enough to get a "Tour" by L.F. (The young Jedi) a few weeks ago......and I had the same issue you did! My Summer Fitness has unfortunately faded and my skills faded as well. Especially since you hit Narnia when you need them the most!!! Thankfully, my ego was in check and I'll be back soon. Without any broken parts on me or my bike ;-) Funny how "easy" some of those hits/rock-rolls might look to the average joe......however, they are the real deal!! Keep em coming Jordan!
My pleasure! It’s just nice to know I’m not the only one who felt like Nepaug is SeriousBusiness™️ I’ll keep the videos coming as long as ya’ll keep watching! Thanks for the awesome feedback. I really appreciate it.
Yessssssss! Best vid yet of the "new" Nepaug! The tech skills needed to clean this place are indeed advanced-level, both physically and mentally. Nice video!
Thanks for the review, hope to hit it over the next few weeks weather permitting, I will give and update then, may wait until my new knee, shean guards arrive. Great video, thanks again.
Another great vid. I think what you said around 4:23 is so spot on. I moved here from the Pacific Northwest 5 years ago and simply wasn't quite prepared for the intricate trails and often endless supply of rocks, roots, and technical riding here. I've since heard other transplant riders say the same. You can find flowy single track here if you look, sure, but having places like this, while humbling (I would have skipped even more than you did), can also really improve your skills quickly, and opens up a world to be discovered.
Spot on Phil. Variety is the spice of life and I firmly believe that every trail has something for every rider. Thanks for watching and sharing your story 🤘🏻
As a local that's ridden nepaug a ton it's deff not for the faint of heart. You gotta respect the paug. I've ridden with some of those guys before. The guy riding the blue norco hard tail builds and maintains a lot of the trails there he's really cool I just can't remember his name. But I love all the features and jumps cuz I used to ride bmx as a kid so I'm really familiar with all that stuff. They didn't show you the huge jump section in there. It's called E.T. (extra testical) I heard a guy broke his neck on that jump line. I've never done it but it looks dope. Great video!
I was actually worried the video, with the "GoPro effect" would make all those crazy stunts look tame. I'm glad the raw power of the trails shone through.
Your videos have made me notice I've been missing out on some awesome riding when I go visit the family in PA. Will have to consider renting a bike and driving a bit next time i'm in the NE.
Saw your video by way of Singletracks.com. Great stuff! I am doing something similar for trails in the Philadelphia area. I look forward to seeing more NE trails
I gotta admit some of that looks insane, but its close enough that I definitely want to check it out. You might want to tack on a few MMs to the 100mil killa for that place!
This was really cool! I liked the technical aspect of the trails, and I found the music much more in-line with the sport :). The track around 3:15 reminded me of HALO, the video game. Nicely done, Jordan! Too bad you were too tired for some of the more technical stuff, but I look forward to seeing you shredding hard in another video.
Don’t let not being an expert keep you out. I’m not even close to being an expert and I survived. Just know there are features there that are serious business. When you go come back here and let me know what you thought.

Thanks Ryan. I feel like we both have a little more to give to Nepaug on our next visit.

No problem! Knee and shin guards are always a good call.

Thanks Austin. I think you’re talking about Luke. He’s a fantastic dude.
@@JordanByron yes that's him. Yea really cool guy.
Another good one. I will have to check this place out. Nice meeting you last night on the Supply Pond Ride.
Great riding with you as well Bill! Hopefully we'll see you out there again soon!
Wow, that place looks really good. I am putting this place on my must do list.
It's really awesome. I just need to boost my physical fitness so I can enjoy it more haha. Great riding with you and your daughter on Saturday!
Jordan Byron You and me both buddy! Thanx! It was good meeting you and riding with you as well.
Rode there yesterday! Definitely my new favorite place
Nice! Nepaug is high up there on my list now too.
Wow, I barely recognize 'Paug! Rode there back in 05-08 and the stunts were very different ;)
They've been doing some impressive stuff in there. Really worth checking out if you are in the area.
Even the video makes it look brutal! I definitely want to get back and hit Gnarnia again.
I was actually worried the video, with the "GoPro effect" would make all those crazy stunts look tame. I'm glad the raw power of the trails shone through.
Love the video! I'm new to the channel and already loving It! Got to ride those trails!
Thanks so much. Glad to have you on board! Hopefully I’ll get the video train rolling again soon.

Hell yeah! If you do hit me up. NY / NJ has some great riding we could check out.

Welcome! I’m glad you found me. Any good riding in Philly?
I gotta admit some of that looks insane, but its close enough that I definitely want to check it out. You might want to tack on a few MMs to the 100mil killa for that place!
A few MMs and a bigger pair of plums would go a long way haha
I was getting bored till 3:07 💥💥 😆😆😆 EPIC 👐👐

Thanks man. Yeah Nepaug whipped my butt. I need to get my fitness back up and hit those trails again.
Been riding here since 1990. 2 min from my home..
Right down the road from my house. I've been dying to go there a while I'm no expert tho
Don’t let not being an expert keep you out. I’m not even close to being an expert and I survived. Just know there are features there that are serious business. When you go come back here and let me know what you thought.
Can you make a video show your bikes year models and what helmets & back packs thx
I talk about my bike in one of my update videos and my pack on a live stream.
Would love to take my dh bike on that downhill part
I love that place do they still have the 8-foot teeter totter into the road Gap then over that big burn over the Volkswagen that place is hot s***
If it is there I didn’t see it. Nepaug is indeed hot shit. Thanks for watching.
The VW is still there and the road gap, but the teeter totter is gone. The bridge over the VW has also fallen apart.
Sweeeeet
Hell yeah!
Jordan Nice job! like to get a tour around CT. I'm in northeaster MA. I ride mostly tech. Checkout my group Trails N Ales. Cheers..
Thanks! I'm a big fan of trails AND Ales so your channel name is right up my alley haha. What's good up your way riding wise?
Jordan Byron Hi. Jordan. There’s a lot of good riding around me. And good beer. If you ever want to check it out. I can show you some trails. Cheers.
