Loved your video. We think we might do away with trail maps and trail signs next year to add to the sense of adventure. People aren't getting lost enough on our trails.
Thanks! Somehow the map we found online didn’t have any trail names on it. I guess that’s what we get for calling an audible out on the trails. Either way I wasn’t kidding when I said VH ranked among some of the best riding I’ve done.
Thanks Laury! I know we just scratched the surface of what Victory Hill has to offer. I’m truly excited to get back there next year and ride the rest of the trails.
When I registered back in August, I actually gave some thought to going for the two lap race. But I'm glad I didn't--the course was harder than I had anticipated, with about 1,000 feet of what I think must have been "bonus elevation' above and beyond the 3,000 foot estimate. About 1,500 feet of it was in the first three or four miles. Tough ride, but a lot of fun.
+captainkickstand that’s what I heard from my friends who did it. I’m considering doing it next year for the experience but I’ll plan on more than a few hill days to prep for the race.
Definitely come next year. . .a little extra prep work will serve you well. It is not an ordinary 27 miles. But hey, I organize and hand out sandwiches. .

*very good trails, nice edit too*
Yeah it’s too bad the place is closed now. Hopefully they get things squared away and open back up
Great Video, so fun to watch. VH is fantastic and the result of so much work.

*i'm glad i found your channel, really awesome job budd*
Thanks dude 🤙🏻
Added to the bucket list for sure!
Totally. Combined with KT this area contains some of the best riding in New England.
I like your mission statement! Should keep you busy for quite awhile.
Thanks! I don't think I'll ever get to them all, but at least I can try haha.
I rode those trails last week during Circumburke. They're very different from the KT stuff. A lot of fun. Good video!
+captainkickstand we saw all of the signs for Circumburke! What did you think of the race? Did you end up doing two laps?

Glad you made it! Most people don't finish the 2-lap anyhow, so you probably made the right call. .and, you got to sleep in!
Hey, i know the guy your biking with. The green Kona and blue jacket.
Cool!
