    Definition of Luck?
    Weeks trying to decide on the HRP!
    Weeks looking at all the "You Tube" guru's and of course, their "unbiased" opinions on the HRP!
    And then your video? For what the HRP does and sounds like? For my use as a solo or with a small trio-the HRP will do very nicely>>> All Thanks To This Video! I thank you sir.
    Will you be doing a video on how to bring in backing tracks? I would like to make my own backing tracks in Studio One and then import the tracks as a .WAV or MP3 (don't know which one to use) Again, Thank you So Much for this video!

    I thought the Prime was a singer/songwriter tool to be used to incorporate voice and guitar, experimenting with vocal harmonies and different spatial awareness of performing in different sized areas .?

  • @jeffpetersus

    Thank you so much for putting out content for the headrush. Love your content. I have the the original headrush. What’s your thoughts with the prime? Is it a big improvement in the sound and functionality of the unit? Pros and cons?

    • @forthecreator1
      @forthecreator1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you’re on the endless quest, and will always need more amps and effects, the Prime does have more. Cloning amps is easy and they sound indistinguishable from the original. Being able to upload/download rigs over Wi-Fi is much easier than usb sync. The practise tool allowing you to slow down songs is very practical. Bluetooth means one less cable. But ultimately I am using the same rig I was using in Pedalboard/mx5 and it sounds exactly the same. So in that sense, I don’t “need” Prime. But it’s nice to have!

    • @jeffpetersus
      @jeffpetersus ปีที่แล้ว

      @@forthecreator1 thank you for the feedback. I might consider the prime as a singer/songwriter to have the mic option, and I love that you mentioned Bluetooth…that is great!

    Your video is my go to still. You did a great job. I wonder if you have the same issue as me. My sound guy at church said I should run stereo and no mono. He found that my left was 20db lower than the right. My rig has the 2 joined circles which should be stereo. I checked on my mixer and he's right, it's lower. Any thoughts? Thanks again.

    • @forthecreator1
      @forthecreator1  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do not have this problem. Tap on OUTPUT. when you play, is one side metering much lower than the other? If they are about the same, then the problem is occurring AFTER the Headrush. Eg. Perhaps you are plugged into a DI box and one of them has the pad engaged. Or perhaps one of the cables between the Headrush and the mixer is bad

    • @williamthomas3515
      @williamthomas3515 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@forthecreator1 Thanks for your reply. When I double tap on the output I get the the 2 meters. OUTPUT and ALT OUTPUT. All 4 meters are the same. If I run the left and right into my home mixer to 2 channels with the gain equal and the left panned to the left and the right the left is definitely lower than the right. The rig width is 100% which according to the manual should be stereo. I don't see anything in the setup that might be the issue either. I've been running just MONO at church and they split it to 2 channels to be basically stereo. Thanks for your help but this is baffling.

    • @forthecreator1
      @forthecreator1  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Create a new rig that is completely blank. If that solves the problem, then your problem is a setting somewhere in the rig. Swap the cables with each other. If the problem moves to the right output, then it’s a bad cable. Also try going from the Alt outputs on the rear panel. That’s about all the trouble shooting I can think of

    That was an excellent video. Learned a lot and I will get my HR PRIME tomorrow but just doing research. My big question is on the EXP/VOL pedal. I like having a volume on my board and it looks to me like it is only used for an expression pedal. Can it just be a volume pedal and have the expression pedal plug into the rear? I play worship songs in Church and like the volume at the end of the chain to kill a long swell if need be. Thanks again for your video, it was great.

    • @forthecreator1
      @forthecreator1  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, the treadle can be set as a volume pedal and placed anywhere on the chain (I fact I only use the treadle for volume). You can connect a second expression to the back and use it for whatever you want. Eg. As a wah wah

    Question. And the manual did not seem to cover it... Is it possible to have all 12 footswitches turn on/off effects in one patch instead of having some them assigned to up/down and tap tempo? Thanks for your time. Have a great day

    • @forthecreator1
      @forthecreator1  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Specific to Pedalboard and Prime: only the center 8 footswitches can be used to turn effects on/off. For MX5, Core, Gigboard all footswitches can be used.

    Got another question. Thanks for all your help, much appreciated. Have you found a pedal that will do a dotted eight reverb? I have looked but nothing sounds like my Strymon Volante set to dotted eight. Thanks so much for all your help and patience.

    • @forthecreator1
      @forthecreator1  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Dotted 8th note can also be expressed as a fraction: 3/16. All the delays in Headrush can be set to 3/16, and all can be set to sync (which means set the delay time based on the tempo). Obviously you’ll also need to either tap in the tempo using the footswitch, or manually dial in a tempo on the hardware assign page and save it
