I've seen these guys touring in Chicago 4 times and they are not only my favorite band from Finland but favorite band to "see live."These guys are fun ,brilliant, pure musicians that became a hit overnight on Facebook and You tube which surprised them. They enjoy playing their music and it shows on stage. You get to meet them before and after their show at the Beat Kitchen in Chicago. I will travel to see them every time they are touring in Chicago. Even have gotten to see them twice for my birthday!!!
Great to see your reaction! My favourite from them is I was made for loving you. They've turned it into something on another level and the music video is hilarious!
Shook me all night long is with the finnish ladies eishockey national team, really, hehe, good one, very funny. November rain is good too, with some moonshine making and stuff. Really nice videos.
Loved it! It’s fun to see someone listen to something outside their culture. (If that makes sense) It’s cool to see the crossover respect, surprise and appreciation for things we may not have been exposed to. Keep it up! Stay curious.
@@PatrolNation sorry, did not saw it. but then you can check out JINJER - Pisces (Live Session) | Napalm Records Quite a music, quite a voice. And if you are listening and thinking: Is it her?, then YES, it is her. No hocs, no trics. You will understand it when you listen to this. :D
Another fun alternative on rock (I've seen them twice in Nashville) 2 Cellos - you could do the same song. My favorite 17th century version of Thunder Struck...
Oh, and if you want to “expand into banjo music”, you have to check out Steve Martin (yes, the famous comedian) especially on his collaborations with the bluegrass/folk group The Steep Canyon Rangers. Steve Martin is NOT “just a wild and crazy guy”, he’s a very talented banjo player.
Chris Stapleton was in a blue grass band called The Steeldriver's. And again,,,its wonderful music,,You should check them out. Try lisening to Sticks That Made Thunder and Where Rainbow;s never die...or, just listen to all of it..LOL Again Love the reactions!
Blue Grass I 100% American it came from Appalachian it's mix of folk from scotland,Ireland and so on with American folk it's just a blend from immigrants from the old wold.I love this stuff in it's day it was metal good stuff thank you from a american.
If you want to listen to some more banjo, look into the comedy actor Steve Martin. He is an incredible banjo player! Interestingly, so is the comedian Billy Connolly.
Here is something that is also different. This is a band that mixed bluegrass with thrash metal. Thunderhead is the name of the band I think, and the song is called the native howl. Here is the link to the song. th-cam.com/video/merSR-CNzRg/w-d-xo.html You rock mate!
Vi consiglio di ascoltare anche tutto il resto del repertorio e scoprirete che sono veramente bravi ad utilizzare arrangiamenti musicali, molto interessanti. :-)
This is a great video. The banjo player is just great in the video. If you want to checkout banjo checkout Earl Scruggs. He basically invented the 3 finger method.
This band is from Finland, Bluegrass music is a staple of the American music culture! Love this band!!!!

They have a lot of stuff that is great. They are an example of don't judge a book by it's cover.
Bluegrass is the speed metal of country. Hayseed Dixie also do some really good bluegrass versions of AC/DC as well as other bands.
He's playing an anvil that's in tune.
I just came across these guys recently. Absolutely brilliamt.
I love their version of Pantera's Cemetery Gate.

All kinds of delightful cross pollination going on here!

That anvil is somehow tuned to B just like sound in original recording.

There's more Steve'N'Seagulls covers of metal. The Trooper, Holy Diver, Nothing Else Matters. My favorite is the Foo Fighters The Pretender.

I know Billy's a banjo player, but Steve Martin. OK. Have to check that out.
well it's not exactly bluegrass but a lesser style of bluegrass that itself is a lower style of country that is called "rockgrass"!
Here is something that is also different. This is a band that mixed bluegrass with thrash metal. Thunderhead is the name of the band I think, and the song is called the native howl. Here is the link to the song.

You rock mate!
"No Self Esteem" is good!
No one else matters
Another great guitarist you should look at is Phil Keaggy, of Glass Harp and solo. He is missing a digit on his right hand and still plays awesome!!
Excellent, and funny - that too :)
Vi consiglio di ascoltare anche tutto il resto del repertorio e scoprirete che sono veramente bravi ad utilizzare arrangiamenti musicali, molto interessanti. :-)
Chris Stapleton had a Bluegrass Band The Steeldrivers - take a listen to If it hadn’t been for love.
Try Mean Mary "Blazing" for a good banjo song.
