BRILLANT!!! Thank you, Berda! That is a much better technique than the "un-ravel down" instructions in a book that I have.
Perfect control and it looks great! Love it!

+phoozchic Thank you for viewing it. I think you mean the Cable Join, which can be a bit more work than one would want to do, but maybe try it out for one project at some time. I did and probably won't do that again. I do like this eyelet join and pretty easy once you get going.

+Mary -Ellen As you see, your among others that really like this one. I also like this and as Corubia may try, maybe I will also, add this to a sweater front or even the back as well.

Hi, Roberta! i have just located you in prep for the discontinuance of the ISM/USM Bond machines. Thank you so much for being here! pj stitches! in gloriously sunny sw MO

+pj bergman So glad you found me. The Bonds can be temperamental, believe me, I have had issues with mine from time to time. But once the bugs are worked out, this machine can make beautiful items with it as well as the big sister metal bed machines.

Wonderful thank you , I have a question, would it be possible to make eyelets on the top then use the same join on the top, My idea is to make squares with the eyelet join on all 4 sides, does that make sense?

I do not see why not, your imagination is the best to get what you want done with anything in life, so just make a row of eyelets at the beginning and the end of the strips.

I can see several applications of this. I'm thinking of a sweater front.

+Corubia Nall Yes you can do this for a sweater front. Now if it pulls itself in and you make a cardigan, then all you would have to do is extend the front ribbing a bit more to make up for it, or measure out this technique and have it included for your sweater. If you do, hope to see it someplace.
