10.04.2022 HAPPY EASTER.🐇🐇🐇🐤🐤🐤🐣🐣🐣🐥🐥🐥🐰🐰🐰 Greetings from France 💐 CONGRATULATIONS 🏆🏆🏆 Your video popped in front of my eyes and I wasnt looking for Brother machine tutorials this instant😄. That was truly amazing. It has to be done on my next sweater. I had a problem with the rolled hem and I always knitted a double hem which looked pretty. But why waste time🙄. Thanks for sharing and spending so much of your time making this video and posting it on your channel on TH-cam. A blessing to me. 👍👍👍💐💐💐🤩🤩🤩
Thanks for the video so easy to apply and not much talking 😁😁😁. If one wants a longer rib can one do more rows after casting on? Or must one do the one row only. Thanks
Hello Marianne, this is a very interesting edging. can this be done as a cast on for a panel, then also used to finish off the panel. Thank you. Happy Easter. Mary-Ellen
Mary -Ellen hi. It can be used on all edges. It can be added to your cast on edge, but not actually as a cast on. You would have to place your cast on edge onto your machine then add this edging. Hope this helps. Marianne x
On your Singer machine, you placed the Russel levers from II to I (at 2:23), but then I heard two more clicks off camera. Was this just a repeat of the two Russel levers going from II to I, or was some other lever or stitch dial flipped? Thanks for sharing your info. It looks great!
Hi, Have tried this on my LK150 and this is still rolling. What sort of stitch dial number should this be on to achieve the no-roll edging? Thanks in advance.
Hi Edwina. It depends what yarn you are using. I would say do it at the normal tension that you would be knitting throughout. You may need to block it too.
Hi Marianne, thanks for your advice, I have tried 4ply & double knitting but I can see that it will take a bit of work to find out the best tension and as you say blocking it too. Thanks again
Certainly Else. I've used it for the front bands of a jacket very succesfully...modernknittingpatterns.com/product/sugar-and-spice-machine-knitting-pattern/
Marianne Henio Thank you, will give it a go! Hems first, bands, then neck I suppose? Awaiting KH260, so your jacket pattern will be perfect! Kind regards
That’s brilliant! You’ve earned a drum roll from me....I had no idea as a newbie how to prevent the rolling. Thank you.
Thank you Brenda :)
Great, and it looks so nice. I am only new to machine knitting so I'm grateful for any tips and tricks.
Amazing.! This looks so good and so easy too. Thanks for showing.
Looks to be okay for using this method for items that don't exceed the needle bed especially blankets, and afghans.
This is how to do a great video! Clear, slow, thorough. I will try this on my scarves. Thanks.
Glad you like it 😁
At 40 seconds you mention that this also works along the edges?
Nice cast-off method.
Thanks.
Tom
Thank you for sharing- I can’t wait to try this😃
Brilliant! I can't wait to try it and thanks for such a clear & easy to watch video :-)
Thank you Terri :)
Thanks! Looks like a mock rib. Interesting way to handle yarn on the BO. Will have to try these.
Thank you Linda :)

So... you are just adding a small amount of ribbing. That doesn't seem very new to me?
It's not ribbing. It's similar to tuck stitch. Have you tried it? It works.
Since you're recording audio for the video as you tape, you might as well speak what you are doing instead of just pointing and holding up fingers.
My audio wasn't good enough so chose the text :)
