  • Extreme weather conditions have left Somalia vulnerable to repeated cycles of drought and flooding events, which have increased in frequency and intensity in recent years. The aftermath of the events has been devastating, such as loss of lives and livelihoods, eroded pasturelands, and large-scale displacements. Children often bear the greatest brunt of climate change.
World Vision is at the frontlines, among others, empowering communities with knowledge and skills on managing the next climate-driven event and reducing their impact, restoration of degraded land and natural resources management.
