Glad you were able to move ahead unharmed 👍 . Even we got stuck 3 times due to shooting stones near Jammu - Army did an amazing job in getting everyone away and cleared up the road with in a couple of hours.

Informative video brother! You're partially right about the reason truck driver's not giving way. Another reason they are unable to give way is because those are heavy vehicles and hence it's not safe for them to move aside from their 'track' due to the width of the road or sometimes the absence of it!
Hi Bhawani.... you're absolutely right. But we were given wrong info regarding the availability of fuel in Nubra by many at Leh due to which we carried additional fuel which was not required.
Very nice and informative..even I am planning to go for Leh on my interceptor (baker express)..The thing that I am very much worried about is flat tyre and the weight of the bike with luggage..it will be very difficult for me to move idle if anything goes wrong..
Hi Mansoor...thank you for the support 😊 Your concerns are genuine - weight of the bike is something you'll get used to but yes after all the luggage is loaded the bike feels heavy when you're trying to move it around while parking etc...and do get a side stand shoe extender (if possible) becuase all that weight results in the side stand sinking into the ground. Flat Tyre: I would suggest that please get a tubeless kit or alloy wheels installed before you go to Leh - Trust me a flat tyre on Interceptor is s nightmare and most puncture repair guys refuse to work on this bike becuase the rear tyre removal/installation is ridiculously difficult.

If your bike is of September 2019 model or before that then your bike will require this update - All bikes manufactured & delivered after that already has that update pre-installed. You can contact Royal Enfield Mahipalpur Service center for this update - I got it done from there (They didn't let me film it).

Bash plate zarur lagva lena kyuki kuch mushkil water crossings me neeche se ragadne ke chances hote hain waha vo kaam aega. Saddle bags leke chaloge to saddle stay ki zarurat padegi. Saathme 5 litres ka ek extra fuel can bina liye mat jana...kuch aisi jagah aengi jaha us extra fuel ki zarurat padegi. Or bhai agar tubeless conversion kit lagva sakte ho to lagvalo...kyuki agar tyre puncture hua to bure fasoge.. extra tube leke to chale jaoge par khudse rear tyre nikalke use theek karke vapas lagana Interceptor par bohot zada mushkil hai.
ATMs are available in Leh and Karu...take cash from there and then proceed towards Nubra and Pangong. Most fuel pumps do accept cards but it network issues at these places might affect that. Always carry enough cash with you.

Hi there...you definitely need to carry at least an extra 5-Litre fuel can with you. Cards do work on most of the petrol stations but there is a possibility of network issues at some places so do keep hard cash handy. Petrol prices are not double...they are standard rate... State wise... 3-4 rupees more than what you get in Delhi.

Hi there.... I'm not trying to misguide anyone here buddy... We were misguided and we met others who reached Nubra and even they were also misguided. We were clearly told by many people at Leh that there is no fuel station at Nubra which turned out to be false. I'm trying to help people here by letting them know that instead of carrying 15 litres of additional fuel they can carry other important things if required while travelling from Leh to Nubra.

City: 22-24 kmpl (moderate traffic)
Highway: 27-29 kmpl (@90-110 kmph)
