Way back in 1977 I went to the same place with bullet 350 cc, older version. When I observed that engine was stalling with creaking sound of rocker tappet assembly, I just pushed back air filter thus allowing carb to intake air directly. All along I was riding with second gear and sometimes in third gear, with road condition much worse than what you encountered. The neutral finder cam was adjusted in such a manner that once kicked on it it engaged second gear instead of neutral. That helped me saving valuable time and energy while riding uphill. I am 71 now and still dream of handling this 650 cc bike. I had earlier some riding experience with BSA A650 which was also good. Thanks for the video.
Hello Sir... Thankyou for sharing such an amazing experience. You did Leh ride when it was not "cool" to do it and hardly anyone would've even heard of this place.... can't imagine what the road or the lack of it were like back then.... Amazing 👍
@@TheTwinPost Actually it was an insane idea to ride to that place. But tell you another story. Before me a guy from Faridabad came to Manali from Leh riding a Rajdoot 175 cc motorbike. His adventure which was sponsored by no one got attention from Govt. of India. Govt. then mulled an alternate route to Leh through Rohtang Pass. This news gave me strength that if a Rajdoot could make this I too could make too!

Awesome... We saw alot of cyliststs too and at Leh one kid joined us till Manali... He rode his RC390 from Chennai to Leh and eventually rode back too... He was 19 years old.
Great. In my five rides so far in the Himalayas, I have found the Bullet 350 most dependable, though underpowered a 500cc plus bike would be better suited. Problem that most riders don't realize is that the bikes are set to ride in city, at high altitudes due to lack of oxygen they tend to stall. Had a honda varadero for company once, finally had to puncture the air filter with a screw driver. Before riding in the hills make the engine a bit faster with rich fuel mix. I hope this helps.
Hi Satinder.... Standard runs on 19 inch wheels which can handle bad roads comparatively well. All new 350s from RE are now fuel injected so high altitudes won't cause that much of an issue.... 350 would feel underpowered at those altitudes.
@@homeat103 Standard 350 has two variants- one kick only, the other one being with ES. The thing is, standard 350 would be better because of the seat design, trusted dependability and ride height.
I did Spiti in Jun'19 on my Interceptor 650. Reached a maximum height of 14700 ft and faced 0 issues. Not discounting the usual power loss, there was nothing unusual. You are right, I had already seen Bulu bhais Vlog and was skeptical, but to be honest I was mighty impressed by the way it pulled. Royal Enfield with the ECU update has fixed this for me.
Ur video gave me confidence. My Gunmetal grey 350 did khardungla just fine, but wasn't able to rev much at chang la pass, had to increase the RPM and it worked really well.
We were accompanied by Classic 350 rider there....even he faced more problems at Changla Pass and not so much at Khardungla...plus the terrain we encountered at Changla was comparatively more extreme than Khardungla. We took the bike (NS200) to Leh Bajaj Service center and they tweaked the air-intake and the bike from there on performed really well.
Just bought my Interceptor 650 BS6 Ravishing Red on Sunday. Waiting for the registration number to come after which I will pick it up from the showroom. Keep posting good content, it really helps.
Hi Ekam...RE service centers provide ECU updates whenever there's a new one that's realeased. Under your seat they stick stickers with the version number they've updated. Initially back in 2019 I read that RE cake out with the ECU fix for the high altitude issue which the bike had...so I enquired about and as soon as the update was available they called me up to get it updated. But after that they updated the software again during one of the service....since a new update was available.

Same happened with my friend on khardungla and changla who was having NS 200,where i on interceptor and my father on apache 1604v was going without any issues
For issues like high altitude in ns200, last resort is to remove the Air filter and reduce the carrying load capacity of bike, like removing luggage, crash guards etc.
Hi there - NS200 was really struggling and at Chagla Pass it completely gave up and had to be towed away in a pickup truck. We did find a proper solution for it - the guys at the Leh Bajaj Service center the altered the opening of air intake and suddenly the bike started performing like a charm. Only thing is it will ride we'll only till 80 (that's all you need in Leh btw) and we got that alteration removed at Manali service center while coming back to counter the highways and did 95-105 constantly.
Attar - R u serious? Ye hi sab karna hai to bike leni hi q, dhakka marne k liye kya? Bikes with Carburettor can be fixed much more easily than the one's with FI. If the NS, which was gave up on climbing higher altitude, had a carburetor, all it needed was a little bit of adjustment and nothing else.... Never Never ever advice anyone on removing the air filter as that MAY lead to a fucked up Block/cylinder going further....
Hi Niraj ...we never removed the air filter of that bike. We just took it to the Leh Bajaj Service center and people there were well aware of this issue. They just altered the air intake a little and the bike was able to perform really well afterwards. Only thing is that once you reach normal altitude you need to get the alteration back to stock settings that's it.
@@TheTwinPost The simple Logic is, just as we have issues breathing at such altitudes, same goes with our bikes... We and our bikes are adjusted at the altitude and the location that we live in.....A litter bit of adjustment to both i.e. Rider and the bike, everything goes smooth and the journey ends well.. We before leaving for the Leh ride were advised by our mechanic, that under no circumstances, should you or any mechanic should fidget with the bikes carburettor unless the bike is misfiring, overflowing etc. Other advice was never to remove the air filter...
Agreed.... Even we were against the idea of completely taking the air filter off as suggested by many passerby. Becuase of this issue we were stuck at Changla Pass in the night at minus degree temperatures and we did not want to risk it again afterwards at Tanglangla... Hence we got that setting done and it worked in our case.
I would love to have English Translation captions. I have a 2020 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 in Baker Express colors. I haven't put much mileage on it yet do to the virus isolation. I would also like to know how your baggage is on your trip. I am trying to decide between the Rynox DryStack and Givi EA100B.
Hi there.. sorry for not providing English captions along with the video. My Saddlebags: Rynox Nomad 2 The reason I chose these was because of their design which suited the upswept exhausts design of the Interceptor. Also these don't cost a bomb and are pretty well made. I faced zero problems with them during my Ladakh ride. The only thing that was always in the back of my mind was 'Tube Tyres' and the pain that I'll have to go through in case of a puncture. Thankfully I did not face any pincture during my entire 3,100 kms Ladakh ride. (I did face a puncture during a 300 kms ride to Himachal earlier this year and boy it was a struggle to get it fixed). Stock Seat: Not made for long distance and should be changed/customised in case you're planning to ride far. I did my Ladakh ride with the stock seat and ended up with a sore butt for over a week after the ride. Short Summary of how the Bike performed in Ladakh (Especially at altitudes of 15,000ft+) : It did a brilliant job and I had a blast on it... couldn't have been happier with the way it performed. Thank you for the support 😊
What i think after watching many bike videos is that iridium spark plugs and a good air filter can help the bike , maybe the NS200 which climbed the peak had a cleaner filter.
Both these NS200 bikes had iridium spark plugs...but stock air filters. After getting the air intake adjusted from Leh Bajaj Service center... Both the bikes behaved really well and managed rest of the ride easily... But we had to get them back to stock settings after reaching Manali.
Bro i liked your content! You gained another subscriber... As a subscriber i'd like to recommend you using cinematic shots of your camera and use a bit of soft ncs music in the backround to add a bit more taste .
Happy for you! Good to hear that the Interceptor took the mountains with no strain. And how did the suspension in particular perform? Did you have to tweak the rear for preload adjustment? Did you wish the motorcycle had more suspension travel? Did the Interceptor bottom out anywhere? And how did the tires perform? And the seat..how did it feel?
Hello Sanjeev.. thankyou for the support. Suspension: I personally never felt the need for the suspension to have more travel although if you're loading up the bike with alot of luggage (30-40kgs) then it is a good idea to set it up one step higher than the stock settings coz it's the water crossings where you'll need it. I'm so glad I had the bash plate installed as it took the hit 2-3 times when we were crossing some really bad section of water crossings. The bash plate only scraped in places where the stones were too damn big - I mean I don't think any street bike can take that without scraping. Tyres: The tyres actually performed really well but they do tend to slide a bit in the slush and sheer weight of the bike saves the rider as it tends to find traction and you're able to control the bike (depends on experience of the rider) - I had zero punctures in my Leh ride but I would really suggest a tubeless conversion becuase I did encounter puncture once during my 400kms Delhi - Himachal ride and boy it's a pain to push this bike plus getting it's rear tyre installed back again is really difficult and most puncture wala aren't ready to do it. Stock seat: Well honestly the stock seat is basically useless for long hauls. It is so narrow and super soft that I could feel the grill of the seat on my butt and I was in a lot of pain by the 4th day into the Leh ride. I'm so glad I got the seat customised but only after I came back from my Leh ride. One more thing though...do get the visor installed as well becuase this bike easily does 110-120 all day long on the highway and wind-blast at those speeds for hours can take a toll on your body. I have made a video on it so you can check that out if you're interested. Keep riding ...cheers 👍

Great video. I am planning to buy the interceptor and keep reading reviews. I have a question, after how many hours of riding did you take breaks for engine cooling?
Actually we only took breaks for refuelling... On the first day we rode for 17 hours from Delhi to Patnitop...it doesn't really gets heated up to the point where we felt like stopping.
Hi there.... I got an overall mileage of 27.8 kmpl in entire Delhi - Ladakh - Delhi ride Even in a really treacherous stretch between Pang to Keylong (alot of water crossings & extremely terrible trails) I got about 270-275 kms of range from one full tank. Overall I spent a total of Rs. 7,500/- for fuel. For reference two of my friends were riding their NS200 and they spent around 6,800-6,900 rupees on fuel.... So I spent just 600-700 rupees more than them. With an engine size difference of around 450cc and a power difference of about 24 bhp...I think I got superb mileage from Interceptor.
@@TheTwinPost hey man! What speeds did You maintain during the clean highway stretches of Your entire trip? Since the overall mileage You mention is above average!
@@FidoFerrari Hello - I maintained a highway speed of around 95-110 kmph since we had decided on this particular speed. I mean someone surely would've.... Because there was a guy we met there who rode solo all the way from Tamil Nadu to Leh on his RC390...he rode with is from Pang to Manali. GT is comparatively alot more comfortable than the RC. But it won't be a pleasant ride though....god save that guy's wrists and neck.
Hi Umair.... You're right... We saw many people (especially RE-Himalayan riders) there who were stuck with punctures for hours. Luckily my bike did not suffer with a single puncture but yes I totally agree one should have tubeless tyres in such situations.
I got 260-270 kilometres of tank range range plus I was carrying an additional 5 Litre fuel can as well. Tyres are fine as long as you aren't in really bad slush... But even then because of the added weight of my luggage the tyres did provide me with decent grip.
I m having gixxer sf bs3 carburetor.....it also climbs khardungla at 2nd gear with speed of 30-40kmph...yes engine jerks after 4000 rpm.... But who wants more spped at high passes....and who wants more just update to k&n filter
Hello Santosh... I haven't been able to get that done. RE officials told me to wait for a month becuase they might launch alloy wheels for the 650s. Its really necessary to have tubeless tyres because puncture with a tube tyre is a nightmare to get repaired with the 650.

Good Stuff. SUBSCRIBED. I hate bad quality content, and too much noise with zero substance. Enjoyed. I am actually confused between "Interceptor650" and "Dominar400" and already planning mods even before buying. What would you say irrespective of being an owner of i650 and being an owner? I am neither a fan of RE nor Bajaj. Both aren't reliable at all. But both have come up with something unique value proposition in the market, i650 & D400, For the price you get a lot of bike, but to satisfy my uncompromising soul, i can't have it the way they are on offer. They both are just incomplete in my view. What's your take from my perspective :) Do write back. Thanks (PS: I am little more leaned towards D400 than i650!)
Hi Prashant... thank-you for the support and i would work on bringing similar content in the future as well. Now let's talk about the i650 & D400 at a glance. Even though I'm a Interceptor rider I'm not a fanboy of RE - never have been nor will be. The first time I genuinely thought that I would put my hard earned money on a RE was after I test rode the Interceptor for about half an hour. (Citywalk Showroom, New Delhi). Now I've ridden all RE bikes 350s, 500s and even the Himalayan and somehow none of them excited me to invest in any of them. Interceptor : it's engine is unlike anything we've ever come across from RE. It's really smooth, decent handler for its weight, good power low down the rev range and a 6 speed gearbox. Stock headlight is just ok & the seat is just useless - touring without getting it customised was a big mistake that I made. The bike feels well built (No rusting issues yet after 9k plus kms) unlike other REs. Dominar: Honestly this bike is more apt for touring than Interceptor and you don't need to do much to make it long distance ready. Seating posture on Dominar is more suitable for touring than the i650 and it's stock headlight is unparalleled by anything in the market. What I dislike about Dominar are the brakes - they don't provide confidence at all and maybe better brake pads can solve that issue to some extent...engine wise it's a capable bike which easily sits at 100-120 kmph on the highway all day long just like the i650...not as smoothly though obviously. Both aren't perfect but yes for the money both offer alot of bike. I used to ride a 2016 RC390 and did long distance rides on it as well before my neck and wrists told me that "enough was enough now go get something comfortable". I personally chose the Interceptor just for its engine, braking (Bybre brakes but Brembo brake pads) and handling (for its weight it handles pretty well). Practically speaking: My mind says get the Dominar - spend about 10-15k on practical mods (Visor, handlebar riser, saddle stay, engine guard, better brake pads, bash plate etc) and just start riding. But my heart took me towards Interceptor and honestly I don't regret my decision. But you can't go wrong with either. Now I hope I wasn't biased - I like both the bikes and wouldn't be unhappy to munch miles on either of them.
We were 3 and except me (I've been to Ladakh before) my other 2 friends faced ACM (Acute mountain sickness) at higher altitudes and Army doctors helped us out. I was totally fine though. It's a bit risky for a asthamatic person... Issue is if the bike breaksdown and if you're stuck there...if try to push the bike or anything it takes a toll on your body. You need to drink alot of water to avoid such things.
Hi there Prashant... There are certain things you have to be aware and take care of. I have been to Leh in riding season as well as during extreme winters when all roads leading to Leh were closed (I took a flight) So are you planning a ride to Ladakh in winter season or do you plan to take a flight to Leh...?
If Highways is what you want to majorly enjoy then please leave out the GT for 2 reasons majorly 1. Leaned forward riding stance which is not meant for long distance riding. 2. Smaller fule tank which basically means more fuel stops Himalayan is a good option if you plan to hit offroads as well...but then you have to compromise on power and refinement. Interceptor in stock condition isn't suitable for long distance riding - You'll have to get the seat customised and get a visor installed. But it provides superior highway riding with enough grunt to do 100-110 all day long with alot of power left for overtaking. And....it's super smooth. It won't do offroads the way Himalayan would though.
Hi Sachchidanand...all fuel injected motorcycles do not have a carburettor and instead have an fuel-iniection system which is controlled by an ECU (Engine control unit) which is basically a small computer which controls the air-fuel mixture. Since it's a computer it can be manipulated through custom maps. Think of your smart phone which can be improved with updated android/iOS versions. Similarly the high altitude issue which the first lot of Interceptors had was fixed with a software update which RE came up with.
@@TheTwinPost Thanks alot. How much are you satisfied with the interceptor? Actually i am planning to buy classic but since today i am confused between the interceptor and classic. I know there is no comparison. One is 350cc and another one is 650cc and plenty of other differences too. Actually i find classic more appealing then interceptor, especially the split seatng. I wanted to go for a classic 500cc but unfortunately because of this covid it got delayed and then the co. itself closed the manufacturing of 500cc models. So whats your opinion over the 2 choices?
Like you said... completely different machines and a considerable price difference too. Looks are totally subjective and it's something which is each to his own. Factually speaking there's just one thing where I would rate Classic to be better than Interceptor and that would be comfort....other than that there isn't anything that is better on the classic. Handling, braking, build quality, performance, tyres - in all these aspects the 650 twins are in a different league altogether.
Stock seat is really bad for long distance... Just get 2 things done before you take the INT-650 for long distance.. customize the seat as per your personal taste and get a visor installed... And you will totally love the bike on long distances.
I've had one puncture when I was on a long distance ride and getting it fixed was a task.... My friend faced a similar situation with his INT650 as well.... In both cases the tube had to be replaced (tube costs 800 rupees from RE). So labour plus tube.... That single puncture coated 1000 rupees for me

It's doable... And it becomes a bit better when you add handlebar risers to it. But overall saddling isn't it's strongest point since it isn't an adventure motorcycle.
Hi Devarshi....it's was just an update by RE which solved the issue of high altitude which existed in Interceptor manufactured before Sept 2019....all bikes post that time had this update pre-installed.
@@TheTwinPost thanks for the quick reply...after this virus shit is over I'm gonna book my interceptor. Any suggestions for tyres? Should I go with the pre installed one.or shall I replace it with tubeless tyres?
Actually the tyres are tubeless....it's the spoke rims due to which tubes are used in them. If you can wait for RE to launch their official alloys for Interceptor then you can just get them and use the stock tyres in them without the tube. Or if you can't wait then you can get the tubeless conversion kit installed in the spoke rims and use the tyres without the tube.
Tubeless tyres any given day man....I had a rear tyre picture on my way to Himachal....had to push my bike for a kilometre plus it took over an hour to get the puncture fixed.

😂 If you watch my previous video you'll see that I have customised the seat finally but yes you're right I did the Leh ride with the stock seat. I was in a lot of pain within 4-5th day into the Leh ride... It's narrow shape is something which bothered me the most...the grills on either side felt as if they'll eat into my hamstrings. After the ride (3,000 kms) I couldn't ride for at least 10 days as my butt was really sore. So like you said....it was indeed a disaster and I should've gotten the seat done before the ride.
The problem was lower levels of oxygen at that height. Later we got the carburettor tuned at the Bajaj service center (Leh) and the bike ran perfectly afterwards.

Bullet 350 standard or classic? Which is better for hills bro? Can i go to ladakh in standard 350 as i only has kick start not self start?
Hi Satinder.... Standard runs on 19 inch wheels which can handle bad roads comparatively well. All new 350s from RE are now fuel injected so high altitudes won't cause that much of an issue.... 350 would feel underpowered at those altitudes.
@@homeat103 Standard 350 has two variants- one kick only, the other one being with ES. The thing is, standard 350 would be better because of the seat design, trusted dependability and ride height.
Congrats.
Happy to note that you successfully completed the Leh circuit on Interceptor.
I had a blast.... Would love to do it again on the same bike 😊
Bro,
Thanks a lot for doing this video.
I feel happy and more confident about my BS4 Interceptor now.
Btw congratulations on your feat, it is a surreal feeling to see such vlogs and see the scenery again
Thankyou for the kind words and sharing your experience brother... Indeed RE did a fab job with the ECU update 👍
Very good narration style...
Matured and adept👍🎉
Thankyou for the kind words 🙏
Just bought my Interceptor 650 BS6 Ravishing Red on Sunday. Waiting for the registration number to come after which I will pick it up from the showroom. Keep posting good content, it really helps.
Hi Alok.... congratulations for your new bike and thankyou for the support.
Was ecu update given by royal Enfield (like phone updates ?) or you asked the service centre to tweek the settings .. btw liked the video
Damn you!!! You just tempted me to to sell my FZ 25 and move on to an interceptor.
Well you won't regret one bit sir 😉

@@TheTwinPost already have interceptor Baker express ☺️
There are liquids available which can be pushed in both tyres for tube tyres. It will just go to the leaked part and seal it. Only cost around 2-3k.
Man. You are lucky enough to save your clutch during the towing.
Indeed..!
You have just convinced me to get an Interceptor. Perhaps you could dub this in English as it is very good.. I admire your courage.
Glad you liked it buddy... I'll try to see what I can do to make this happen (English dub).
My Saddlebags: Rynox Nomad 2
The reason I chose these was because of their design which suited the upswept exhausts design of the Interceptor.
Nice clips bro... keep posting..thanks for sharing your experience.. keep posting the pros and cons of the bike too..
Sure brother - thanks for the support 👍
What i think after watching many bike videos is that iridium spark plugs and a good air filter can help the bike , maybe the NS200 which climbed the peak had a cleaner filter.
Both these NS200 bikes had iridium spark plugs...but stock air filters.
After getting the air intake adjusted from Leh Bajaj Service center... Both the bikes behaved really well and managed rest of the ride easily... But we had to get them back to stock settings after reaching Manali.

Helmet: Studds Shifter (Now I use MT Stinger)
Gloves: Biking Brotherhood Tourer

Even in a really treacherous stretch between Pang to Keylong (alot of water crossings & extremely terrible trails) I got about 270-275 kms of range from one full tank.

Good Stuff.
Sir did u faced any health problems on higher altitudes . Is it good for asthamatic people to go there ??
We were 3 and except me (I've been to Ladakh before) my other 2 friends faced ACM (Acute mountain sickness) at higher altitudes and Army doctors helped us out. I was totally fine though.
It's a bit risky for a asthamatic person... Issue is if the bike breaksdown and if you're stuck there...if try to push the bike or anything it takes a toll on your body. You need to drink alot of water to avoid such things.
Will go for a tour someday....
Can you share your details of winter traveling in Leh. I am planning to go ! Will really appreciate your feeds !
Hi there Prashant... There are certain things you have to be aware and take care of.
I have been to Leh in riding season as well as during extreme winters when all roads leading to Leh were closed (I took a flight)
So are you planning a ride to Ladakh in winter season or do you plan to take a flight to Leh...?
for enjoying touring highway riding .. which bike i should buy... himalayan / interceptor/ gt ?
If Highways is what you want to majorly enjoy then please leave out the GT for 2 reasons majorly
1. Leaned forward riding stance which is not meant for long distance riding.
2. Smaller fule tank which basically means more fuel stops
Himalayan is a good option if you plan to hit offroads as well...but then you have to compromise on power and refinement.
@@TheTwinPostthen i think himalayan would be best for me 🙂thank u sir for ur valuable reply
Bhai u went in which month? I had went in April when snow was melting and bullet was really struggling on height

Fuelcan can be placed on top of the saddlebags with the help of a bungee rope... that's what I did.
Glad your bike performed well.
I have a question hope you will tell me.
What do we mean by ECU update?
Hi Sachchidanand...all fuel injected motorcycles do not have a carburettor and instead have an fuel-iniection system which is controlled by an ECU (Engine control unit) which is basically a small computer which controls the air-fuel mixture. Since it's a computer it can be manipulated through custom maps. Think of your smart phone which can be improved with updated android/iOS versions. Similarly the high altitude issue which the first lot of Interceptors had was fixed with a software update which RE came up with.
@@TheTwinPost thanks abundant for your reply dear.
So the ECU can be updated at RE workshop itself?
Absolutely.... they're done at the RE service center by thier technician at no additional cost.
Bro, how comfortable Interceptor is for tours?
Stock seat is really bad for long distance... Just get 2 things done before you take the INT-650 for long distance.. customize the seat as per your personal taste and get a visor installed... And you will totally love the bike on long distances.
Are tire punctures a recurring problem ??
I've had one puncture when I was on a long distance ride and getting it fixed was a task.... My friend faced a similar situation with his INT650 as well.... In both cases the tube had to be replaced (tube costs 800 rupees from RE).
So labour plus tube.... That single puncture coated 1000 rupees for me
Well, the 350's have tubeless these days ..
Yes they do...since they're now offered with alloy wheels... Anyways I converted my spoke rims to tubeless so it's no more an issue for me now.
Thank you so much such a informative video 😊 im also own gt650 nd I'm planning for GURUDANGMAR lake then I'm thinking about this high attitude problem thanks bother thanks for this information ♥️
Thankyou for the support & kind words brother - and best of luck for your Gurudangmar ride 👍
Bro I too have a GT 650 wanna do the same tour as you do. If ur willing to join please reply me we can exchange numbers and contact each other.

Did you carry extra fuel ⛽️ if yes how did u do it
Yes I did carry extra fuel... A 5 Litre Fuel can (easily available online and in auto-accessories shop) was more than enough for my bike.
Higher altitude you need to change air filter to performance based once! Stock air filters and thin air don't go well!!!
You're absolutely right...although we managed to cross Khardungla...but onnour way back from Pangong that particular bike just gave up completely at Changla Pass...we were stuck there in freezing cold night for hours before finally help arrived in the form of a random pickup truck.
We got that fix done the very next day.
@@TheTwinPost that's wild journey! Keep pushing the limits 💪💯 Riders for life😎

Bro how's the wind buffeting on Highway speeds? And windshield available??
I have installed Himalayan visor with MK Design mounts....mounts are available online and the visor can be bought from RE service center
@@TheTwinPost ok bro, at high speeds you felt any resistance on your helmet??
Himalayan visor deflects windblast really well.... cruising at 100-120 for hours have become a lot easier with this visor.
@@TheTwinPost thank you for the info 👍🏽
Apne seat bhi modify krwai thi is ride ke liye????
Nahi seat stock hi thi is ride par... Or meri band bajgai thi stock seat se.
Vapas aake sabse pehle mene seat customise karvai thi

Hi Vyapak.... Pure Delhi to Ladakh and back to Delhi ride me fuel laga Rs. 7,500/- ka.
Overall mileage mili 27.8 kmpl ki.
Thanks or sharing, i did Ladakh spiti 4 times on my Electra RE. Just got my new twin,It wud be grt if u can share the the tyre you used for this ride
4 times to Spiti... that's amazing.
Congratulations for your new bike... I used stock tyres which came with my bike for this trip. My bike was just 2 months old when I took it to Ladakh.
Just a small suggestion bhai apna helmet camera ka angle change karo thoda sa upar karoge to aur accha view hoga, good job
Hi Ibrahim.... Thankyou for the suggestion. Actually mere camera mount ka connecting piece Ladakh me tuut gaya tha jiski vajah se camera ka angle me theek se set nahi kar paya tha....aage se is baat ka zada dhyan rakhunga.
Thankyou for the support 😊

@@ronitpatil8154 Aisi koi bhi problem nahi hai...mene khud apni bike 17k se zada altitude par chalai thi and koi issue nahi aaya.
thank u bhai👍
How comfortable is to stand and ride on this bike? In offroads...
It's doable... And it becomes a bit better when you add handlebar risers to it. But overall saddling isn't it's strongest point since it isn't an adventure motorcycle.
@@TheTwinPost Ok
nice content bro!!! but that back ground music booom booom n booooooooom just love it💃

Hey... Whats ur update number(visible under the seat on the Battery cover i guess) for the Int.650?
Hi Ratish.... I'll have to take a look at it and would definitely post the update number here.
@@TheTwinPost okay plz let me know... Its something like 2,3 or 4.
Is the ECU update available in 2021 BS6 version? Mine is 2021 BS6 bought in June 2021... Can u comment?
Hi Jainendra.... All BS-6 models come with the ECU-update pre-installed... You can ride your your bike to such location without any trouble 👍
What is an ecu update? Sorry if my question sounds too childish, have just started learning about bikes!
@@TheTwinPost thanks man! Much appreciated, also what do you suggest...tube or tubeless tyre?
Tubeless tyres any given day man....I had a rear tyre picture on my way to Himachal....had to push my bike for a kilometre plus it took over an hour to get the puncture fixed.
How was the ride comfort on the tour?
Hi Abhijit.... Ride comfort with the stock seat was not that great... I should've got the seat customised before I went ahead with the ride. Stock seat had me in pain within the 5th day into our ride.
That's the reason as soon as I came back I got the seat customised...now it is really comfortable
Was ns200 carburetor bike. If so you need to re jet or can increase fuel mixture screw
Hi there.... Yes the NS200 was a carburetted bike.... We got the adjustment done later from Leh city and there onwards the bike performed well

@@TheTwinPost ok... Thank you for the information
Being a heavier bike, how u people are managing to maneuver all the hurdles and turns at slow speed. As when I rode this bike in city, felt such problem. Pls confirm.
It is a heavy bike...but I've got used to the slow speed habits of it.... Although it is heavier than Classic350 but it handles much better than that bike be it at slow speeds or higher speeds. It's been 10k+ kms now and now i easily filter and flick in heavy traffic as well 😆
@@TheTwinPost that's called diplomatic way of proving ur point right, any how that's ok.
@@harshsood936 The bike weighs 200+ kgs and there's no way around it.
You'll feel the weight in the parking lot and not while riding.... ofcourse you can't flick it like a KTM Duke.
Bhai, motul a puncture repair aata hai ek can mei. Woh test karleyo, suna hai sahi mei kaam karta hai. Check it out
Sir kya ladhak trip pr aloy wheel shi rhega INT650 m
Hi Amit... Ya to alloys lagvalo ya fir tubeless conversion kit lagvalo kyuki tube tyres ke saath agar puncture hua waha to bohot bure fas jaoge.
What is mean by ECU update?
Congratulations for your ride. Tell me about your butt situation as you use stock seat. It is disaster .
😂
If you watch my previous video you'll see that I have customised the seat finally but yes you're right I did the Leh ride with the stock seat.
I was in a lot of pain within 4-5th day into the Leh ride... It's narrow shape is something which bothered me the most...the grills on either side felt as if they'll eat into my hamstrings. After the ride (3,000 kms) I couldn't ride for at least 10 days as my butt was really sore.
So like you said....it was indeed a disaster and I should've gotten the seat done before the ride.
air filter checked? for that stopped bike?
The problem was lower levels of oxygen at that height. Later we got the carburettor tuned at the Bajaj service center (Leh) and the bike ran perfectly afterwards.
Continental GT vs interceptor which your advice
Weekend rides only....fast agressive sporty riding : GT
City riding/commuting/touring : Interceptor
Neet to carry fuel to Leh ladakh on my GT 650.. how did u carry? Need guidance

Not trying to push my insta I'd here.... But I've posted few pics of my setup and you can clearly see the fuel can placed along with the luggage
