He stayed with me all my life after that, sort of shaped me too in some ways. And last night, at 25 years old, I finally got to fulfill my childhood and adolescent dream of seeing him live. My heart is full. It felt like a homecoming

I'm pretty positive that it's "tears" and not "deers." 1. It makes more sense contextually. 2. Deers is not the correct plural form of deer and I'm sure a man like Damien Rice is not illiterate
