I love that despite having monotone voice Anby is just as nerdy as the rest of them. Beat-boxing to her own theme, calling out the "boss battle" music, and just generally doing goofy things. Girl is perfect.
I only learned a few days ago that Sam Slade is the voice for Anby, keep in mind who is also the voice for TOPAZ in Star Rail, that is absolutely insane, I love it.
2 fun facts: 1) When hiding behind the giant Bangboo statue, Billy was avoiding the cyan and pink thing which we all know is 💩 2) Anby is cute. (This is a confirmed fact)
I have to be 100% honest, I originally was gonna just be an outside viewer of this game ‘cause I already had several other games I’m already going through . . . But the Cunning Hares were what finally pushed me into jumping on. Their chaotic dynamic sold me immediately. Heck, Billy ALONE was what got me to watch the trailers! 😅

They must have had good direction because it really does stand out how good the EN voices are in this game, stands well above most other anime style games.
I feel like my main issue with enjoying the Cunning Hares that much was how slow the game’s pace was in this early part. I really enjoyed Belobog Heavy Industries so much more because the pacing for that arc felt a lot faster so they could each grow on me at once rather than individually. Also Grace felt like Marina from Splatoon

Displays some traits (monotone voice, doesnt always display emotions correctly, hyperfixation (on movies and music in this case) limited in taste of food (burgers) missing the occasional social que. But it might be possible that she just requires deprogramming from her previous organization. Although Soldier 11 isn't quite the same.
As someone who played in both English and Japanese languages i will say Japanese is overall better but i prefer english Billy. Anby is great too in English. The coolest thing would be to choose voice per character like in Arknights.
@@shrimpchris6580 In all my years on the internet that is the first time i ever heard someone dishing Jp vo. Japanese were born to voice act anime shit. Every voice is perfect and fits like a glove. I try English too on occasion and the women are so amateurish in comparison that it feels they read a piece of paper and have little emotion and fake sounding voices. Chinese is just awful to listen too for me because i am not used to it at all since so few stuff come out from China. And they are not well known for voice acting whereas a lot of Jp actors are considered legends.

These games are rampant with the japanese version heavily localizing characters to fit their own tropes better to cater to that audience, it's really bad. They weren't "born to voice act," they're people not some magical unicorn creatures for you to fetishize like some kind of sycophant. I don't know why you weirdos pretend it's that difficult to get used to another language, it's not like you speak japanese either, you obviously had to get used to that too. I fucking hated how japanese sounded when I tried it with anime, but I stuck it out and it's fine now, I even have a 190 duolingo streak, renshuu and a couple other apps. That doesn't change the fact that Japanese dubs of other foreign media are typically localized to shit almost as bad as old 4Kids licensed anime used to be.
