- One of the downfalls of solo travelling is that I miss my family a lot, and especially my mum. So today was great day as I my mum flew out to Vietnam for a holiday and we we're able to catch up.

So wholesome! I love this video. It's lovely to see your mom and the rest of the family.
Hi mom David is great kido ❤🎉😮😊
Your mom looks so friendly David. You are very lucky to have her.
Bigs hugs for Grandma, I'm glad she has family around her. Thank you for sharing your family with us. I'm from NZ & I'm so jealous of all the cherries & chocolate!!!
I was moved when I saw your mom took out a small box of cherries and hid it , just so that you could bring it back later . ❤❤ that’s mother , always keep the best for their children
Love to see family members getting together having a good meal and chat. Very nice!
Your family are awesome and Mom looks so happy to see you. How cute is Grandma 😊 sorry to hear that your Grandpa passed. What district so they live in? Simple life living in South East Asia is the best. Now I know where all the Milky Ways went to haha 😊 enjoy the holidays with Mom mate.
Quite far out from the city, around 14 I believe. Thanks man will definitely enjoy the holidays!
Wow your mum looks very young. What a lovely reunion
Got those asian genetics haha
Such a sweet mother! She must be so proud of you. Handsome and nice! Lovely family.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.
Gia đình yêu nước ! Chúc cả nhà bình an, mạnh khỏe!
I swear every Australian Vietnamese family always brings the suitcase full of cherries when they go back and visit 😂
So it’s just not my family 😂
Very sweet to reunite with your mom. She such a sweet lady love her. Surprised how much cherries she could fit in that luggage!! ❤
She’d take more if she could 😂
I'd love to see your mom cooking something for you!
this is so wholesome, lovely to see your mum and the rest of the family!
Awe. … what a special time with your family,David. Enjoy and happy holidays!
Great to see your mom back🎉
So cool to c your mom, she seams really sweet and so super nice of her to bring all those cherries. She should bring Kakadu plums next time. They only grow in Australia and they have the highest amount of natural vitamin c. I get the freeze dried and it is super expensive for the tiniest amount. I wonder if it is less expensive if u get it while u r in Australia? Excited to c the upcoming video's!
I’ll have to check out those plums!
Your mom looks so young and her family is so lovely.
You are so sweet, David ❤
I did not know the cherry 🍒 is more expensive in VN!
She has strong asian genetics haha
Great video - thank you for sharing real life - best part - spending time with family - made me sub seeing how nice everyone was and are so friendly; wish and hope to move my retirement and relocate to somewhere SE Asia - Vietnam is high on my list of to be visited before deciding what country to settle in. Love the Vietnamese culture and want to somehow be a part of it with how nice and family togetherness it seems. Enjoy your time with mom and family.

i used to work at Sydney International Airport, every time is cherry season i see boxes and boxes of cherries from Vietnamese passengers and flight attendants goes through security. I ask them doesn't Vietnam have them, they told me ours is better.
Mums are the best and will always be there for you no matter what ❤❤ Thap Cam means combination and Dac Biet means special. You should know that! 😊😊 So lovely to see you with family during this time ❤❤
a luggage full of cherries 😊
how cute!
Sweet Mom
Wow, that's nice... you got to spend some time with your mom. Vietnamese are just like Filipinos when visiting the old country. The luggage will be packed with "pasalubong" or gifts to be given away to friends and relatives like assorted chocolates. I don't know if Filipinos bring fresh fruits like cherries, at least no one from my family ever did. Usually, it's chocolates, canned goods, or some designer clothing and towels too. But from my last few visits to the Philippines, I have learned that it is no longer necessary to bring most of the items I've mentioned because "tourists" are given a full 24 hours to shop at a "duty-free" store near the airport. That would save the aggravation of hauling a 25-kilo luggage. The only disadvantage is, sometimes, buying it at home before flying out, the items could be on sale. At the "Duty-Free" store, everything is at a regular price.
Am impressed with the house

Cật = Kidney ( not liver)
The are of grandmom is poor outside but inside your grandma house is good
I think a lot of houses in poorer areas are like this nowadays
i was waiting for the motivational quote at the end of the video :(
You enjoyed them? That’s nice to hear! I’ll bring some back in future videos :)
I don’t understand why the whole village waits for their relatives(s) to arrive.
Ahah khai you forgot your manners whilst filming bro! Why didn't you ask the old folks to start eating before you start digging in lol.
Awesome to meet the fam. The Asians always have respectful children unlike the rude entitled kids in America.

Sao không ở với bà ngoại mà ở khách sạn cho tốn tiền. Tết nhất quan trọng là gần người thân. Sướng khổ không quan trọng.
