Do you ever find that you have to recurve the hat as you are wearing it througout the day? I do the same method but sometimes without the steamer and feel like the curve goes away within an hour

I ghetto steam it bro over a pot of water lol. But yeah I do find myself having to recurve my lids sometimes. Especially if I leave it sitting in the stack for while and try to wear it.

I wear a 7 3/8 and I curve the brim but it's a little snug, but if I go up to a 7 1/2 and curve the brim it's a little too big. I'm not sure whether to stick to the 7 3/8 and simply stretch the cap or go up to a 7 1/2 and just deal. 😕

If it’s too big get foam tape or hat reducers, I wear 7 5/8 but the hat I wanted was only available in 7 7/8 and I got foam tape to reduce the gap

I say get the 3/8 and get a hat stretcher and slightly stretch it. It’s easier to stretch and go bigger then try and shrink or use extra stuff to make a big hat fit. Plus naturally the stretched 3/8 will naturally shrink overtime then just stretch it again.

The reason you can't rock a flat brim is because you don't have anything that accents your face. You need a nice beard, and throw on some shades or some nice glasses and the flat brim won't be so noticable.
