I prefer the longer videos. Your videos are so well done and practical. Thank you for your content- I have been watching for years when you mainly did furniture in Arizona, but I love these thrift flips even more.
So happy you survived Beryl with minimum damage. Up here in the Tyler area we had lots of rain and some wind. Loved your video today! It was so nice to follow your shopping at the Goodwill bins. You got some awesome decor items. Be safe and stay cool. 🤗
First, I am glad you and your family are safe. Living in FL, I know what these hurricanes can do! I would keep the mirrored tray and the sunflower picture for your room. Just an idea: I think because the nightstand came out so fabulous, I would pain the other nightstand the same! I love having two different night tables and then have matching lamps. You did a great job finding all of those items, and I cannot wait to see your next trash to treasure! Have a great day!
It looks like you luve near Cypress 53:43 North Houston. My sister used to live there. I also have a brother in Jersey Village. I hope you got your tree damage taken care of with little or no cost. I'm glad you were able to host extended family. What a blessing!
So glad you and your family are doing ok after the hurricane! Thanks goodness for generators! I appreciate the long video with all of the good thrifting and flipping. Take care and good luck with cleanup!
Loved everything you did today. I especially like the nightstand , it’s inspired me to do something with mine. Years ago when my husband and I downsized ,we thrifted two dressers, two nightstands and a headboard. I painted all of them Swiss coffee. The walls are a pretty light blue so painting the nightstands blue would look good. I like both long and short videos of yours
Do the triple drawer bedside unit to match the blue. Keep the blue lamps and mirrors. Very attractive with the bed head. Put the cute chair in the modern Monet room with a Monet inspired cushion cover. The happy yellow painting will be perfect in the modern Monet room. You find great stuff. The child’s bench would be a lovely plant riser.
Cory I am so thankful that you & your family are safe🙏🌈💖 Will be praying for everyone affected by the storm. I love your videos & can’t wait for them to be posted. LONG videos are awesome! You are a blessing to us🙏🌷 Thank you for all you share with us sweetheart!
You did such a great job on all of your flips. Your talent keeps multiplying. I loved this video, so many cute things. If that little kids bench doesn't sell maybe paint it the same blue color that you painted those dressers last month. You hit the jackpot at the Good Will bins for sure!!
I love that you don’t only tell us about your cleaning process you show step by step what you use and show us that sometimes using simple ingredients is the best and easiest way to go. Thanks that great for our health and environment.
Thank you for letting us know about how you weathered the storm. You definitely were surrounded by “whomping willows”! Glad you are all safe and have just clean-up rather than major damage or flooding. Since this is just the beginning of the hurricane season it may be a good idea (if you can budget it in) to have a trusted arborist remove those branches and check for any other damaged ones that may come down in the next storms and have them removed. My parents did that since we have tornadoes pass through our area and our trees have fared so much better in consequent high windstorms. It was worth the investment for peace of mind and house protection. The trick is always in the budget. Looking forward to seeing you again under sunny skies ❤
Thank you Heather. We are going to get a quote to remove 10 trees from our property in hopes that it will prevent anything happening in future storms that might be worse. Might have to take out a loan to do it but it's better than them destroying our home and not having a place to live for months waiting for insurance
Well I am no help😂 because I totally think you should keep that bench it looks so cute for fall decor. The pumpkins totally transform the wreath ❤ the table cloth is absolutely gorgeous
For your guest bedroom, I would paint the second dresser blue, keep the blue lamps, but get one or two pretty books in the color of your choice, besides blue, to put under each lamp. That would give you a distinction between the blue lamp and the blue nightstand that you need. I love all of your videos.
I’ve been watching your videos for quite awhile & I’ve learned a lot from you! I really like your furniture flips.i think the side tables look beautiful-perfect for the look you’re going for!!!
Hi Cory so glad you make your videos you are so down to earth.always explain step by step what’s your plans are on your projects . Thanks on using healthy choices on the order listings.safe cleaners for Mother Earth. Stay safe and prayers for your family safety.😊
I am so glad ya'll are ok. Thank you for video of how things look. All your diys are beautiful. I love your shopping at the bins. It's so much fun seeing you dig. 😅 Take care and hope you get things back to normal. 😊
Hey !!!! You of so many wonderful ideas. I would add gold to everything cameoed in your blue monet nightstand!!! Dark grey pops of color!!!! You are amazing!!!! You and your hubby are beautiful!!!!!
Enjoy watching your thrift flips and makeovers. So glad you’re ok after the hurricane, we live in Michigan & got the tail end of that storm, no wind just lots of rain.
I looking at this video today, July 11th and I'm glad you and your family are doing well. God is faithful and He will continue to protect you. Look forward to seeing you return when you can.
The pine cone in this video can most definitely be used for fall/ winter! I think natural pine cones overall can be used any time of year as a nature element. I have a bunch in an old wood bucket sitting on the fronch porch under a barnwood bench. I wld like to turn all these pine cones into a wreath at some point but have no idea where to begin with that.
The blue night stand is so awesome. I love your french inspired piece ! The lenght of the video doesnt matter to me as long as you keep it interesting. I think that the child sized bench might took good at the foot of your bed The pieces that you thought had bug homes is a seed pod and yes people still like them. The pine cone looks really wintery, so I think it would look good with both fall and christmes
Years ago on HGTV I saw a person who worked on furniture using a table they made by starting with a circular card table, adding a turntable, and adding another circular piece of wood on top. It enabled them to work without having to squat down or keep turning the furniture piece manually. I think something like that could help save your back in the long run. I love your videos and how you transform things so beautifully! Barb in Cali
Cory I have had you in my prayers all week! We are all so grad that The hurricanes power decreased from what it was when it was in the golf! Thank God! Even here in Ohio, we received two days of rain and 3 inches of rain just because of that hurricane. Unbelievable that it can affect so much weather so far and wide. Praise God that you and your family are fine amen.
Take care! That's a lot of clean up after the storm. Glad your family is safe . Love your video alway fun to see your creations and what you find at Bens. 😊 cute night stans
I am so glad you didn't put antique wax on your beautiful bedside cabinet. I always think of Monet art as being fresh, soft - but never dulled with dark washes. The blue is perfect - and because the arched mirror is white, I think the blue lamp looks lovely too :)
I think the nightstand on the left side of the bed is too chunky looking . The chair with the cane seat would also look nice in that room. I do love your work! Glad you are safe. I have family both in Rio Grande Valley and in Houston, so I was watching closely from my home here in Baton Rouge.
Wow you scored on those two trips. Love what you're doing with your guest room its so my style. The night stand you just did Id keep in there maybe a round one similar in style n color for the other one. Just my opinion. Happy to hear y'all faired okay during that massive weather. Trees are a job to clear up n yes very expensive. Any video length you put out I watch and always inspired. Sending prayers for y'all and others that are dealing with the aftermath.
I think the Christmas tree is for Christmas, the only thing I would use for fall in the items is maybe the pine cone. Loved the wreath hanging frame! Gorgeous! The painting sitting on the "easel", very cute. 😊
This is so good! Your coined phrase modern monet is great! This blue piece is amazing as a nightstand. So easy to picture a small vase with wildflowers in it sitting on top of the blue nightstand
Happy you came through the storm with minimal damage. You did fantastic getting stuff at the bins. I really loved it all. I especially liked that you put that little painting on an easel. You could even decorate with a couple paint brushes, etc.
So so so glad your family is safe ❤ definitely keep that last picture for your Monet room. Love ALL your videos short or long and your continued gratitude and humbleness. God bless
yes perhaps a bit of antique wax would have added to the blue side table. It will all look very nice when the picture is up above the bed, it will bring it all together. Well done and bless you for helping so many people with their homes and interiors. I worked for Laura Ashley for 15 years so I know what I am on about, you are a little gem of a lady, with a lovely husband and family. I enjoy watching your videos xx
I loved this long video 👍 You are so very talented!! I thought about you with the horrible weather Houston got. I feel so bad for all the people without power. Thank you for another great video you're awesome ☺️💜👍
I saw a mirror technique for antique mirrors that had the reflective coating peeling or qorn off. You sand off some of the back coating in random wear patches, then decoupage your old paper or tissue paper to the back. That way it peeks through the mirror. It's Very Cool looking. That mirror tray would be perfect to try that technique on!! It hides the glass imperfections. And it's easier to dust/ clean than regular decoupage.
I love all of your video styles & like the longer lengths. I also love your guest bedroom. I think the way you have it with the 2 different nightstands is very creative. The lamps look great! The framed wreath hanger will look great in your modern Monet guest bedroom. 😊
I absolutely love the french inspired nightstand that you restored and love the mirrors with the blue lamps, but I was thinking that maybe the white nightstand would look pretty painted blue as well. You do such beautiful work and I love watching your show! Thank you for all of your wonderful ideas!! ❤️ Debbie Clark.
Hey Corey !!! I would paint the second side table the same color as the one you painted in this video. They would match perfectly with the Monét vibe and the art picture above the bed !!! Kisses from Greece 🇬🇷 !!!
Piper is a little sweetheart! Gee whiz, what a haul!! Like what you did with the bench. Girl, those creepy things are seed pods and I do like them (to each our own) lol. I think that wreath would look good with anything, anywhere. It is lovely. Really thankful you are safe and my heart goes out to all affected by this hurricane. Thanks for sharing. BTW, love your long videos!
I think the chair cushion has covered up the most unique part of that gorgeous chair... maybe try removing it? ❤❤
Girl, I would never second guess your paint or decor choices because, honestly, I just love your vision for these much loved pieces..
I love everything you do. You are so down to earth, friendly and no nonsense and you are just as sweet
I prefer the longer videos. Your videos are so well done and practical. Thank you for your content- I have been watching for years when you mainly did furniture in Arizona, but I love these thrift flips even more.
Wow thank you so much! That makes me so happy to know that
I second that! 😁🥰🥳
I definitely prefer the longer videos. I'm always excited when you post a new one. Your flips are so unique and creative. ❤❤
Definately longer video. I'd watch you every day if possible. 😊
Wow thank you so much!
I love all your videos, the longer the better
Thank you Gina! I'll try and do lots of long videos in the future
@@DesertDIYI agree with Gina
Me too!
On the chair, take the cushion off the seat.
Me too. I am a new subscriber. Enjoyed all your projects!!
Thank God you are all safe. Beautiful projects and flips
Thank you so much!
That little pew bench would make a wonderful addition at the foot of the bed in a childs room.❤
I prefer videos less than 30 minutes but I will watch yours no matter what. Love your ideas.
So happy you survived Beryl with minimum damage. Up here in the Tyler area we had lots of rain and some wind. Loved your video today! It was so nice to follow your shopping at the Goodwill bins. You got some awesome decor items. Be safe and stay cool. 🤗
I love the blue with the white headboard ❤❤ Cory don’t worry about what anyone says. It was falling apart and you gave it life❤❤❤
Thank you Paula!

You did a great job finding all of those items, and I cannot wait to see your next trash to treasure! Have a great day!
I would keep the wreath hanger. It's so versatile you could change the wreath at any time for any season
It looks like you luve near Cypress 53:43 North Houston. My sister used to live there. I also have a brother in Jersey Village. I hope you got your tree damage taken care of with little or no cost. I'm glad you were able to host extended family. What a blessing!
I agree, the longer the better. Thanks for asking. Also, I would take the pad off of the chair so they can see the beautiful cane work.
Thank you Maxine. That's a good point
So glad you and your family are doing ok after the hurricane! Thanks goodness for generators! I appreciate the long video with all of the good thrifting and flipping. Take care and good luck with cleanup!
Long or short makes my day! Just fyi love your black pants and shirt at the beginning of the video! You look so cute!

Had to add... Audrey Mayfield is quite a popular artist - her hydrangea paintings are fantastic too.

Always looking forward to your videos. Everything is so beautiful.
