@@BriansRCStuff yes sir, it's very busy through there during the week but barely any traffic on the weekend, very flat and smooth pavement. Thanks for watching
Stock everything! Just different tires and a good 3s or is that a 4s you are running on that Hw 50 esc? That's fast! FORGET my question i see you installed a 150 amp esc..Thanks for sharing😊
I had mine for about a month do you have any tips on making it more a durable, also what gear ratio should I use for high speeds on stock moter and esc?
@@Sirrmike that is really a broad answer as in making it more durable depending on what kind of driving you do, bashing skate parks etc etc.?? So far for what I do, durability hasn't been an issue after I greased the diffs F/R, locked them together, changed the shock oil, just basic maintenance. As far as gearing, are you running the stock tires?
@@RCrepairAndBuilds I want to make it more durable for bashing, and currently I’m running stock tires but I have some belted street tires from amazon coming soon
@@Sirrmike I don't do much bashing, at all. I don't want to give you bad information, I know they offer upgraded aluminum control arms, shock towers etc etc, basically the entire chassis itself. @@Sirrmike you're welcome, I will help any way I can, especially with the Thunder, I'm very familiar with them, I have been 12 so far for myself, my daughter, a couple of subscribers and other friends. Straight line performance I can definitely help you out, gearing, motors, esc etc etc, I actually modified a Traxxas slipper clutch because the stock LAEGENDARY unit blew out out 73 mph, it couldn't hold the power bit these modified slippers we basically built have worked great, so far. That truck is fast like a "bat outta hell". I seen video of a guy racing a Traxxas XRT 12 S and ripped apart two tires within 100 yards. Hope the belted tires help that guy.
