Y’all! I totally forgot to share but also - there was a shooting at my last hospital in which two staff were killed! That has to be the craziest and saddest experiences of all, and I couldn’t share before because I didn’t want people to know where I worked. But yea, super wild!

Oh, WOW! That's crazy. I'm so sorry to hear that 😔 I can't imagine how hard that must have been for everyone involved. We are living in the last days. I can't wait for Heaven! 💗

Since I became a nurse, I have had multiple horrible experiences involving lateral bullying, because of these I have been unable to maintain a job and I don't have much experience in a particular speciality. I have been getting close to god during this hard time, cause only God can help me through this season in my life. Hopefully I can come back with a testimony. I would love to be part of your Bible study group.

Hi Courtney! I’m currently in the nursing program and graduating this December 🥹🙏🏼💗 God is so good and I have grown in my faith and walk with Jesus throughout the program 😭 This video was so helpful! Thank you for sharing this side of your life with us. May the Lord continue to guide every step of your life! "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." -Matthew 6:33

This video was so helpful and encouraging to watch. I have been in LTC working as an RN for 3+ years and I have always wanted to work remotely. I prayed and God blessed me with an at home nursing position after 3 months of searching. Thank you so much for the update and information. Praise God!

I am doing bedside as a traveler and I really want to work from home. But I’m not sure what position titles to look for most of the ones I see when I search are nationwide but no one seems to recommend actual positions in their videos to search for

Congratulations on this new chapter! You really come off as super pleasant. I'm so glad the medical field got to experience you as a bedside nurse. It's a special blessing when you have caregivers who aren't just book smart but also have the heart and Grace to handle people well.
Excited for you and this new chapter in your life!

Hi. I’m telemetry RN and also a believer. I practice in Canada, but I recently obtained WA license to do some travel nursing in the US. I was looking up travel nursing videos on TH-cam and came across your channel. I am absolutely enjoying your videos and encouraged by your love for the Lord. I’m feeling a bit nervous to start this journey, but I’m also excited for new adventures.

Great honest video! I’m an RN looking for remote options and also a Jesus lover. ❤ I am experiencing a toxic workplace environment now and I’ve got to get out! It’s so draining!
As a mom of 3 sons…My advice for you as a nurse mom is do what gives your heart peace. If your heart wants to be full time nurse you can do it but let others help! If your heart wants to be home with your kids and your finances can allow it…be home more! I only worked 1-2 days a week when my kids were little and I wouldn’t trade those years for any amount of money. ❤

Wow I’m right at the place of wanting to transition from bedside travel nursing to a wfh position. Joined this field to get closer to God n ppl by serving the sick n vulnerable bt once I got to kno all the extras that goes into nursing, it’s been burdening me for years that this may not be for me n I gotta make a change. Been sacrificing family, friends, connections, time to myself n the Lord n enough is enough. I just extended one more month but I have to pray for the Lord to guide me in my next step bc I’m not serving him at all in this position. Thank u for sharing this, it gives hope, also with the Bible study group n finding ur place in that n going to seminary school, that must be an amazing feeling. Ok, heading off to my night shift, pray for me y’all! God bless🙏🏾✝️❤️

I should be starting early June if all goes well and im really excited to see what life is going to be like as well. congratulations on you're new beginning! i would love to see content on how you transition from delivering bedside care to delivering outpatient care. :)

I am also a Nurse. This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 702 subs and > 200 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
This channel also inspired me to upload my recent videos to share my opinions about the main things that truly impacted the way I live. They're a couple of my most vulnerable videos that I've been hesitant to post for many months because of the fear of being misunderstood but I finally decided to overcome that fear so others can learn from my experience so we can all grow together. They're packed with valuable information about the relationship between a job and happiness.

Hi, Courney! I know what you mean. When I was in seminary pursing my Masters, I learned that studying about God does not replace fellowship with God. School can definitely have you so busy that it’s difficult to just lay out at the feet of the Word, rest, and enjoy it as you did pre-seminary. I’m about to finish my doctorate and though I’ve gotten more balanced, I look forward to getting back to my best self in His Word. May you find peace, strength, and balance on your journey❤

I've been a nurse for 18 years with 2 kids 11 and 15 and my husband works nights so working in a hospital setting is NOT possible. I currently teach at my children's Christian school but i desperately need to be working from home for the sake of my family. I have my MSN and im also a devout Christian but the amount of remote job postings is so overwhelming and ive worked in all varieties of nursing as well as taking breaks at times over the years. Im in Florida and can't travel what does this community recommend

I’m planning to attend Nursing school in 2024. I hope Jesus will help me to be able to withstand bedside. I’m really interested in PICU then study Legal, forensic or CRNA. Thank God there’s also other areas Nurses can do very well in so I plan to have a side hustle doing Esthetics. Nurses can also work for Tesla.

How was it being in nursing school? I am planning on going back to school for a career change. I am still trying to decide between nursing or social work to become a therapist. I like social work because I love counseling people and helping others. For nursing, I love learning about the body and health. I want to help people get well and learn to take better care of their bodies. I just want God’s will to be done. I have wanted to be a nurse years ago but let the fear of nursing school being hard stop me and now years later I feel like I’m doing that again and also seeing all these videos on TH-cam of nurses saying “I quit being a nurse” but yours is different because although you quit bedside you are still in the field of nursing. I honestly don’t want to do bedside nursing at all lol. I want to be a nurse to go into other nursing fields. Any advice would be helpful and also please pray for me that I would get clear confirmation as to what career path to take. Thank you.

Hi Courtney, congratulations 🎉 for your new job! And to be honest with nursing, we need to be very strategic and specially when you have a family or start a family.
I'm on my 3rd and final year, and I'm a mum of 1 plus bonus mum of 3 now. To be honest I don't see myself doing besides. I live in London and luckily for us we can work as district nurse ( meaning treating patients from the comfort of their home, patients that are discharged from hospital) and the work hours are 9-5, you don't do night. As a wife, I feel like you need to be home for all your family. Anyway, I praise God for your new job 🙏🏽.
I wanted to know if it was possible to do a video on giving some tips to new grad Christian nurses, who actually want to work bedside. Because I don't know for you in te US, but here in the UK, they are pushing a big agenda that are not the same as our values and to be honest, I'm asking myself if us Christian we do have a place in this nursing world. Like here in England, a nurse has to be removed from a work place, because she was wearing a necklace with a cross linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fwww.nursingtimes.net%2fnews%2fpolicies-and-guidance%2flondon-nurse-wins-case-for-unfair-dismissal-over-religious-necklace-10-01-2022%2f&c=E,1,OhDb1CykmCuVL3U2U0uCSLgKqkO9qZQyKsWcB0W4DJJr01TMAsfjRoJ8M_xIiLTeKnxCMg_9YX5HCx5OWaftpT6-43BBybx1cn-u7WQ1ftt-4Q,,&typo=1. I know the enemy is trying to put me down, but lost of my Christian sisters nurse are just asking the same question.
Hope that wasn't too much asking.
Take care, and God bless, a sister nurse from London.
