    Beautiful beast. Even the pro motocross racers wish they could race a 350 over a 450. Plus I love the comfort of the KTM frames.

    Very nice, I'm doing a similar build on a 500 at the moment. You should look into the AKT magnetic oil filters. They're expensive, but you'll never need to replace or carry another oil filter again. 👍

    • @kovrcek
      @kovrcek 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      but not all the dirt in the oil is magnetic. my understanding is that this filter can catch only magnetic particles. or is there some stainless mesh for example that helps with non-magnetic dirt? can't really tell from the picture at their site

    Your 350 build is nearly identical to my 500 build and for the same reason. TAT (again) and the BDRs. Mount your Taco turn signals above the lower triple, trust me.

    Any reason for not puttning one fuel blatter on each side of the bike but much lower down to lower the centered weight?
    Other then that, great setup

    • @WheeledGeezer
      @WheeledGeezer  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Are you referring to why I used a larger tank on the KTM instead of dual fuel bladders?

  • @tammaramma
    @tammaramma 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Looks like you moved the location of your ignition key too. What was the reasoning for that? Was it because the hand guards would interfere with where it was in the original location?

    • @WheeledGeezer
      @WheeledGeezer  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I moved it because of the trail tech mounting location. I find it is very convenient at this modified location.

    What Brand and size tires did you go with on the .KTM 350
    And did you the lower bike?

    • @WheeledGeezer
      @WheeledGeezer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did not lower the bike and I did not change out the suspension. All I did was set the sag for the loaded out weight.
      Rear tire: Dunlop D606 120/90-18
      Front tire: Pirelli MT21 90/90-21
      Loved the combination.

    • @WheeledGeezer
      @WheeledGeezer  ปีที่แล้ว

    Why the 350 over the 500?

    • @WheeledGeezer
      @WheeledGeezer  ปีที่แล้ว

      My choice of the 350 was spurred by a comment I received from a bike shop when talking about the 350 and 500. “The 350 is more nimble in the woods but on the road others riding with you will pull away”.
      I wanted a very flickable bike in the trails and I don’t care about highway speed.
      Five days into the ride I am very happy with it. Excellent in the trails and can run the speeds I need on asphalt.

    What brand and gallon size is your gas tank? How did you apply the shrouds to it? Looks very good.

    • @WheeledGeezer
      @WheeledGeezer  ปีที่แล้ว

      The tank is the 4.5 gallon from IMS. The radiator guards are bullet proof designs. The bracket provided by IMS lines up perfectly for the guards. I just had to add some spacers. I was concerned the tank may to too wide but it does not interfere at all and I believe I prefer it for standing and riding - easier to grip the bike with my knees.

    • @WheeledGeezer
      @WheeledGeezer  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are screw holes in the tank for attaching the shrouds.
