Lady’s Island Marina Beaufort, SC to St. Johns Yacht Harbor Charleston, SC
This was going to be a long cruising day so we headed out early past Beaufort and into the Coosaw river. Light wind and low humidity made the long steam enjoyable. Many of the channels are tight with shallow water on both sides so you have to pay attention even at 7 knots. Most of the run is very remote and you may not see another boat for hours. As we made our way closer to Charleston the activity on the water increased. Eight and half hours later we arrived at our Marina for the night Just outside of Charleston. The smaller marinas are more convenient for us and for snapper and skipper. Thanks to Marine Mate in Lindenhurst for making this trip possible.
