wondered what your thoughts are on the models from the 50's on the BoR bracelet and the leather straps with logo buckle. It always seems like the metal bracelets overpower the beautiful dials and takes away from the piece, but maybe I'm biased.
I was hunting for some minute details between two of the models you showed here and you answered them perfectly. So helpful. Really appreciate it. Great video.
Many thanks for the comment. The second half to this video will become available in just a few hours from now. Make sure to watch it as I will reveal something very important there.
Sir, you have a huge collection of watches. I want to buy if my mind desires. What will be the price for an Omega watch having second hand at the 6 0' clock.
Sir, what will be the price for watches introduced between 1950 and 1958 in Indian rupees. Sir, eagerly waiting for your reply. I have a desire to purchase such a piece.
Thank you for the comment. The link is actually correct. But I did not adjust it to sit properly onto the case. The end piece is interchangeable for many models, but depending on the lug measurements and thickness of the case, you’ll need to adjust the end piece accordingly. I usually wear my watches with a strap instead of the bracelet.
Unfortunately, I do not know anything about modern models. Maybe if Omega offers me a deal to discuss about their modern watches I'll do review on them too.
Hi, these videos are really interesting and thank you for sharing your knowledge. I was gifted a while ago a 2652 in 14k gold. Based on your experience, can you suggest if and where is it possible to find a bracelet for it, since it came on a rusty old extensible bracelet? Thank you very much!
I’ve just found (family stuff) a 14k constellation without the crosshair on the glass and with a blue second hand. I have not been able to find this model anywhere on the internet. It’s a 2648. Any idea why I’m having a hard time finding an example of this exactly?
Maybe your watch has been modified or redial. Blue second hand already sound incorrect. You can always try asking on the Omega forum by posting a photo there.
@@TimelessHistoryChannel thanks for the reply! I did end up at the R/watches Reddit. Ended up getting a ton of information on the watch! Crazy the watch is nearly 70 years old. Edit/Add: the guy mentioned that it is likely that the dial had been replaced and the hour markers were replaced with other genuine omega pieces as well. Going to be sending it to omega to be refurbished/serviced!
I have a question your comment in the video - it seems 2652 and 2887 have screw caseback, while 2782 and 2852 have snap on caseback. So why are you saying 2852 (snap-on) replaces 2652 (screw down), and 2887(screw down) replaces 2782 (snap-on)? You also mention that most of snap on in the 50's is 2852, while most of screwdown in the 50's is 2782 ....but earlier you said 2782 is snap-on - so something doesn't click here. Can you please verify my question?
Hi there, Great questions! Thank you for watching through the video. You have a very good point and it makes a lot of sense. The reason I feel that 2852 replaces 2652 is because of their quantity and popularity. 2782 is not very common and 2887 is rare. When someone mention bumper automatic Constellation, off the top of your head model 2652 appears. And 2852 is very common.
This is a trip into pure beauty! Thank you for that!
A range of beautiful, elegant and even enviable Omega timepieces from bygone years. They look even better than any modern Omega today!!

I'm surprised you fitted to such a beautiful Omega watches BoR bracelets with unsuitable endlinks. At minute 9:15 it's very visible.

You may need to try on Ebay or ask on the Omega forums. Make sure the length is long enough to fit your wrist.
Will the dials of 2782 and 2852 be able to fit in each others case?
No, dial feet are in different position.

@@TimelessHistoryChannel I think he mentioned the second hand/ticker was from the 1960’s… his words were, “frankenwatch” lol
Great beautifull watches. Great video. When you say 15 millón, it means omega made 15 millón of that precise year model?
No, it means the number on the movement. 15,###,###.

How much does it add to the value when you have original casing and all the documents?
It will vary from seller to seller and who you offer it to. The overall condition is highly important too
