I thought I was going to have replace my air compressor but I spent $50 and fixed it by replacing the unloader valve. TH-cam saved me some money, just like watching your videos. Love them.
@@joefeng23 My air compressor was not building air. While at a shipper or receiver I would lose air when braking or using the brakes while backing into the dock. Once parked the compressor wouldn’t build air.
I myself bought a aftermarket ac compressor installed myself 3 years ago not hard to do verry straight forward don't take long to do. and still working to this day.
Good information thank you. You’re the best, as an owner operator sometimes we want to save some money. Honestly I’ve use aftermarket parts and luckily I’ve had no issues.
Some times you need to go for the aftermarket part because at the time you have no choice you can't afford the oem parts and you need to keep your wheels rolling by the time it goes bad again you probably be financially in a better situation and a lot of the times the aftermarket parts last a verry long time depending on what part it is some parts it is better to go with original for example engine internal parts where the labor can be expensive but a lot of parts outside the engine you can save labor money by doing the work yourself and if it last half of the time as the original for less than half of the money you save you still good myself I use a lot of aftermarket parts and always have verry good luck no problems.
Is true what you said....I been working over 27 +years on metal business.in 2diferent locations here in the states. The first one was really strictly in every single details about SAE and ISO,.and the second facility was for aftermarket parts I see the difference in both...I strongly recommend only the genuine parts...save time and peace of mind.
Thank you Jefe..I am a owner of s freightliner cascadia from watching all you videos..now i need would like for you to work on my truck where is your shop.???????
I purchase an AC aftermarket from a local truck stop the connections were different and after leaking the freon three times in less then a month I give up and return it, the part was sent for inspection its being a month and I have no refund. I hace proof that is was made different
Hi Francisco, I have 2015 Volvo vnl d13 leaking oil at gear plate/timing cover passenger side. I can’t find a mechanic. Can I bring the truck to you for repair please?
Francisco, if you don't mind, I know your in California but where is your shop located just in case I'm or other o/o's are in area & need some repairs, new sub, I really enjoy your vids.
I feel like there is not much made in America anymore, and cat engines are all refurbished parts. My truck had a platinum overhaul and 200 thousand miles rings broke head cracked all because they are refurbished😩😀

What’s wrong with your air compressor?

I replaced the unloader valve inside the compressor which fixed the problem. Spent $50 vs $500 on new compressor.

Wires are thicker OEM. Metal concentration is stronger on OEM
