one of the best and understandable videous , please also teach how to do planning in this kind of structure as most of us do that on cad is it possible to take this model into auto cad or revit then do the floor planning also im not getting that braced grid option in my grasshopper for rhino 6
Thank you. Yes, you can export the model for CAD or Revit. For the braced panel option, you must download Lunchbox plugin for grasshopper. Go to this link to download www.food4rhino.com/app/lunchbox
Hey ! One of the best tutorials about grasshopper ! But I have a problem. I don't have "Lunch Box" on grasshopper, and the following "H" too. How can I fix it ? Hope you'll answer me soon. Good job !!!!!!!
@@evidencephiri842 For beginners in Rhino and grasshopper, make sure you have Lunchbox, Weaverbird and Kangaroo installed. you can get them at www.food4rhino.com
When I go into rendered mode i still see the redish loft how do you only see the pipes ? Also I had to do two separate pipe nodes for the lines A and lines B because i couldnt join them both through the CRV that you added... i dont understand why still good tutorial thanks
1) If you still see the loft in the rendered view, you can turn it off by disabling preview in grasshopper. Just right click on any component in grasshopper (In your case loft) and turn off the preview. 2) You can join geometries by adding a 'Merge' component.
Thanks for your tutorial, I did all the steps smoothly until I try to join Lines A and Lines B with curve block to connect with pipe block but it doesn't work, only can connect Lines A or Lines B with curve, not include 2 lines. Can you help me? Thanks.
It's a great tutorial, very interesting content. Although I didn't choose the reverse option in grasshopper, two of the ellipses which are at the top and bottom became reverse. I followed the order you used while choosing curves. How can I fix it? Thanks in advance! Hope to see more of these videos :)
Loft works according to the order of selection of the curves. Make sure in which order you selected the curves. So that we understand better, you can also send us the reference image at architutors@outlook.com
It was more the rebuilding you did at 1:25 where you dragged the ellipses to shape them in a 3D space, so they no longer followed a 2D plane. I am trying to make the build only using grasshopper, so the whole geometry is coded in grasshopper and not be dependent on the rhino file later on. (I want to be able to modify the shape later on, so saving it in a geometry component isn’t an option)
We are working on some interactive sessions on grasshopper that we will upload soon in which we will try to cover different options and aspects of grasshopper with their plugins.
Thank you very much ... I loved the tutorial ... but I don't know why when I add curve to the structure, I can only connect it to line A, also the connection with the curve is shown as segmented ... I have no idea why it happens?
To connect Line A and Line B outputs to Crv component, Just hold the Shift Key and connect them. With holding the shift key you can connect multiple outputs to one single input. If the result you're getting is segmented, you can edit the Preview Mesh Quality option to high quality, you can locate this option on right hand side of grasshopper screen that has bluish spherical icon.
excelente video, su contenido muy objetivo gracias.

Do you know of a component/way to modify the structure directly in grasshopper without rebuilding the
ellipses in grasshopper?
You can create those ellipses in grasshopper, using ellipse component and set or alter the parameters accordingly. That's entirely up to you.
It was more the rebuilding you did at 1:25 where you dragged the ellipses to shape them in a 3D space, so they no longer followed a 2D plane.
