Thank you so much for your video! It is easy to understand and helps a lot.
Thank you for this tutorial. I found it very useful to practise with examples from the book Folding Techniques for Designers by Paul Jackson!
Glad it was helpful 🙏
I’ve created a folding solution for an origami pattern using the CraneSolver from the CRANE plugin, and it works just fine by pressing the 'folding' and 'unfolding' buttons. However, I would like to control the folding with an adjustable slider to close it at a specific angle. Is there a solution you can recommend? Thank you in advance
Really cool, thank you! I am most interested in anchoring the base as a structure, then seeing the form as a folded plate structure.
You can do that with constraints...maybe more about it in future tutorials 👋
hi! I am following your tutorial but I can see the folding mesh and I don't understand why? there is maybe a step that you pass?
I only could install the 1.0 Crane, i follow the instructions, everythings going well but when i link the crane solver it did not work, it said i miss the archive :c
is there a way to have to not have a fill between the lines? and just have it be open so light can come through and it could basically work like overhead covering?
Use the "Edges" output on the "Deconstruct CMesh" command
Make sure to push and hold down the 'push button to fold' button to get the folding action.
That's no origami grasshopper 🦗 💀💀💀
