The most comfortable foot pockets for my feet! Are they compatible with other brands blades if I want to upgrade to carbon in the future? Which brands?

      Yes. Alchemy and Leaderfin

@@konafreediversreviews1175 Leaderfins Pure Carbon Fin Blades come in 20 and 33 degrees options. Will 33 degrees fit properly into BM-30 pockets, which is 30 degrees, right?

I just installed Leaderfins Ice Fiberglass 33 degrees Blades onto my SEAC BM30 foot pockets. Standard 80 cm blades are slightly longer than original/stock blades.

I extended my snorkeling with a bit of freediving last year, using my snorkeling gear and this year I want to get some better gear (and become better at freediving). Since I don't get to freedive very often it'll be no use to buy very expensive gear so I am looking into the BM30 or W-22 fins as they seem to have a decent performance, are a bit on the softer side and with about 110 to 120 Euros for a pair in Germany, are not too expensive.
What I got so far is that both are quite similar where the BM30 has a steeper angle at 30 degrees vs. 22 degrees for the W-22. I also want to use the new fins for snorkeling, so I want optimal performance with depths up to 5 to 8 metres, and I am not in any way interested in any form of competitive freediving. Should I get the BM30 or rather go with the W-22 variant for this use case? I think the BM30 would allow for a more relaxed foot position when staying at one depth level where the W-22 is better for reaching greater depths quickly, or is it completely the other way round?

Depends. What's your height and weight? BM30 are softer. Angle is a bit much for mist people unless your have difficulty pointing your toes.
For most people the BM-30 is better because they are softer but it depends on your leg strength. The more kicking you have to do the softer the fins you want.

Plastic! But you can swap blades for carbons later if you wish to upgrade.

Been searching the web for days... can you just tell me what the single best pair of Carbon Fiber fins would be for under 1k? I'm new at spearfishing but know for sure I want to do this for as long as I can and am willing to invest in a quality pair... at this point I'll take your word for it... pls

That's easy. Alchemy s-line. Most carbons are too big or stiff. The alchemy's hit all the marks and are durable.
