Things I missed to mention in the review:
*Sapphire crystal has no AR coating
*Lug width is 20mm
*Bracelet is fairly well built and has solid endlinks
*Clasp is fully milled

I love hommage watches. I have 40ish of them. But I am trimming down to max 10 watches now. San Martin, Pagani and Chronos are sexy watches. And fun. I will buy the real watches when I get more money in the bank.
Thank you for talking about the clasp being very sharp, I got a green PD 1644 yestarday and the first thing that botered me was that, the rest seems fine, the bracelet seems durable, but I don't want that clasp, never had this kind of problem with a watch before.

I think I'm gonna switch the bracelet and buy one of the pagani design steel bracelets sold separately , they seem fine
Hey man, thanks for showing these interesting options. I have never been keen on green on watches, but this is strangely appealing. I have the panda model. Paid in the low $60's. I missed the date on the Parnis, but the Pagani wears quite a bit bigger. They should have went for a date at 6 o'clock imho. But A LOT of watch for the price. Take care.

Fantastic comparison. I own the Parnis, but these definitely give the Parnis a run for the money. Would love to get my hands on one of these also.

@@TheBoldHairspring It's good. Similar. Seiko VK63 meca-quartz. Sapphire crystal. Ceramic bezel. I have the tiffany blue dial and panda variations - the blue is my favorite, very unique color combination. Trade you the Panda for one of these Paganis if you're interested!
I watched your review. The ceramic bezel seems better there is no date window which is better in my opinion. Thank you but I'm more interested in the full rose gold parnis. More eye catching xD

I had serious QC issues with Pagani Design. I bought 4 watches and 3 had issues. One arrived dead on arrival, another had the chronograph not working, another had scratches on the bezel and crystal. Return on Ali express is a nightmare. I had to pay shipping which was one third of the total cost of the watches. Even though the specs are tempting, I will not buy from Pagani Design anymore.
Yes, QC is the biggest drawback when it comes to AliExpress watches. Sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience.
I agree, I've bought 2. Both have faults, date windows that won't turn independently from the hands, bent crowns and so much slack you wonder whether the crown is connected to the hands! Also jammed pushers. Both have gone back.
I have the green one. They're amazing value. The only con is that the micro adjust is impossible to access.
Yeah it's a nightmare to size. I managed to do it with a very tiny flat screwdriver.
Glad others noticed this - almost tempting to order a glidelock clasp separately, but mine fits me perfectly w/ EasyLink extended. They really did copy Rolex down to this dumbest design engineering feature. Whatever tiny blade you managed to wedge in btwn the inside of the clasp & lock springbar mechanism to adjust the hole intervals must've been surgically thin, cause there's virtually no distance btwn them.
I have several homage watches, mainly Seiko homages with Seiko movements. Might as well be Seikos. Pagani Design, as has been said, doesn't actually design anything, it just rips off the design of high end models. Moreover, the name Pagani is actually owned by an Italian motor company so there is a clear breach there. It has been said that they are trying to rebrand for better access to European markets. With the quibbles out of the way Pagani Design are really clever because although the green one (I don't know about the other colour) is an homage to the Daytona, Rolex didn't actually make one in that colourway, so nobody can say that it's a replica. No harm done. This is the one that I would actually like because it's obvious to anybody that knows that its not a Rolex. And if you like wearing them, then what is the problem. In the era of covid it's going to take a really bizarre person to follow you around with their nose up your sleeve! My one Rolex homage is of the 1954 Rolex submariner by Steeldive, it happens to be my birth year, and as a model it's so old that it would take somebody really special to know what it was. Wear what you like and don't pretend to be what you are not. 👍🏻
Got 10 Pagani Design watches; 4 “Submariners”, 2 GMT’s and 4 “Daytona’s. They are fun to have, and give a lot for the money. The main complain is the quality of the screws from the brachelet. Got a real Rolex ( Datejust ) too, so I can compare. 😀😎

Yeah they offer a lot of value for the money.
I have a couple paganis. A green subbie and the rose and panda Daytona's. The bracelets are the weak point in all of them. The watches are great the bracelets are just ok. Still great value for very nice watches.

I have no issue with homage watches. I have no issue with people buying whatever they enjoy. I think replicas are shady but again I think people should buy what they enjoy as long as their not trying to scam anyone with a replica.

Yes, they're pretty great for the price. I still have and them and still wear them. So far no problems with either one.
1:40 answering your question. Very simple. Stealing someone else's work is immoral. Rolex designed a watch this way. Someone else just stealing the design and selling for much less mone is immoral. You are buying from people who are immoral and in a way supporting them in keep doing immoral acts.
