Would you consider doing a playlist of “general” car maintenance guides to this Ridgeline? Things like changing brakes, transmission fluid change/flush, differential fluid, oil change, along those lines?
Yes we just decided to keep my wife’s passport so there’s a few things on that that will be relevant across the siblings. And first up is a front brake and rotor change. Thank you for your suggestion
Great video! Would you happen to have the torque specs? axle nut, control arm, ball joint etc. ?
Nice tutorial Eddie. Did you encounter any problems getting the alignment back to specs? Traxda makes a 2 piece strut cap with 2 degrees of adjustment to help the process but requires trimming down the strut studs which I don’t want to do.
I took it to Belle tire gave them the manufacturer specific alignment requirements and it’s just fine. No change in ride.
Question, how did the alignment shop do the alignment since their system only compares what "factory spec tolorances" should be in order to dial in the alignment? Can they modify the alignment data to compensate for the kit? Great step by step. Looks straight forward. Just basic strut removal.
We did get it aligned and turned out great

Eddie, what is the logic of leaving the strut attached to the axle assembly?
Is it 35mm or 36mm for the axle nut?
36mm I just removed the nut with a 6 point 36mm impact socket. Rented it from a parts store.

I don’t sorry but it didn’t take much since the headlights have a definite cut off.
Did you ever end up needing to trim the 3 bolts where the spacer goes into?

What is the exact tool name and if you can get the part number for removing the lower control arm? I rented a Lower Ball Joint Puller from parts store and it wouldn't fit. Minute 5:12 of your video shows the tool you used. Thanks a million
It’s a ball joint separator from harbor freight. I did have to open it up some to fit the ball joint correctly
@@eddiesspeedgarage Once you bought if from Harbor Freight, grinded it to be a larger opening to fit the ball joint spindle just above the boot? Thank You for the follow up.
I got lower ball joint separated using tool from harbor freight but still can't get it far enough down to fully release lower control arm. What am I missing? ?
You may have to make the opening of the fork wider. These tools vary quite a bit

I have one auto shop install this kits on my 2021 RL and after install all my indicators lights up..I know he’s doing something wrong
I can’t speak to what was done wrong. I can say we had no issues with any wiring being reconnected after the install. Maybe take your wheels off and see what you see
